Set within the grounds of Rockfield House, the Gardener's Lodge offers a delightful holiday house with dormitory style accommodation for up to 22 people near Kells in County Meath.

This is a great location for a country break with friends and family or for a hen weekend celebration. Youth and school groups are very welcome, and will find there is a wealth of places to visit and interesting history and culture to discover. In the heart of the Boyne Valley and Ireland's Ancient East, this region is home to many historical monuments, distilleries, walking and cycling routes and tours. This part of Co. Meath also boasts great fishing.

This characterful property has been renovated to create an inviting holiday house, with large social sleeping accommodation spread across three dormitory style bedrooms with a mix of single and bunk beds.

The lodge is adjacent to the walled garden of Rockfield House and guests can wander through the grounds or down the avenue of the big house.

Hen parties, team building and special birthday groups are welcome to take part in the fun party packages (Victorian Escapade/Murdery Mystery) available at Rockfield House too.

Rockfield is just 3km from the heritage town of Kells, with it’s many fine restaurants, pubs with entertainment, local shops, monastic monuments and high crosses. The town is home to the Guth Gafa International Documentary Film Festival, the Hinterlands Literary Festival and the Samhan Food Festival. The Gardener's Lodge is 45 minutes from Dublin, 35 minutes (42 km) from Emerald Park, 37 minutes (55km) from Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, 35 minutes (33km) from the world heritage site of Newgrange exceptionally grand passage tomb, 20 minutes (28 km) from the Hill of Tara, 28 minutes (26km) from the heritage town of Trim with its medieval castle and river walk. You are spoilt for choice when staying at the Gardener’s Lodge!
