Outdoors, Gaveston has a fishing lake, football field, barbecue and picnic area, tennis court, woodland walks from the door and footpaths leading to The Downs link bridleway. The indoor swimming pool (only available in the summer months) as well as pool and table tennis provide opportunities for wind down time and relaxation. Gaveston is a peaceful and protected environment with indigenous wildlife roaming freely. The children will be able to sample a different way of life feeding chickens, goats and horses.

Accommodation inside Gaveston Hall is hostel or dormitory style mostly with bunks as well as a few single or twin rooms for accompanying adults.
