An ideal venue for schools, colleges, youth and community groups, groups of family and friends. Come and visit for Activity Courses, Skills Courses, or for private reunions or celebrations, corporate team building events or retreats. Volunteering opportunities are also available. Our Centre can be booked on a fully catered or self catered basis. We can provide a full activity programme or you can deliver your own programme or sightseeing agenda - or a mix of both! Ghyll Head House sleeps 40-60 in 12 bedrooms The Lake View Bungalow sleeps 12-29 in 7 bedrooms Our POD Village (sleeps 40 in total).  This is a glamping option with heated PODs and facilities as well as a classroom for activities such as yoga, table tennis, crafts We have additional capacity in our Lodge which sleeps 12 in 3 bedrooms when booked with either the House or Bungalow We are located a few miles south of Bowness-On-Windermere, ideal for exploring the central and south lakes area. There is a network of footpaths from our doorstep. We are open all year round, 7 days a week. Ghyll Head House is a Victorian Villa with accommodation for 60 in a range of bunk bedded rooms, some ensuite, and a number of rooms have a single over double bed option. The dining room, wash up room, games room and lounge are all well equipped. Our Accessible Bungalow has 7 hostel style bedrooms, a games room and a large open plan living room with fabulous views. The kitchen is very well equipped with easy-to-use industrial style units and apppliances. Our POD Village had 9 heated PODs in a private woodland: 5-berth, 2-berth and 3-berth PODs. There is also a games room, kitchen and shower block as well as outdoor dining area and fire pit. Dogs welcome. We can accommodate all diets and we plan our activities to suite a range of groups, call us we'll be pleased to create a bespoke package to suit your needs and budget. We're active, well qualified and great fun as well as being able to deliver high quality learning in the outdoors! House: 1 accessible en suite room. - **WiFi:** We have fibre broadband and WiFi available. 4g Reception is good for a number of networks. - **Kitchen:** The kitchens are both easy to use modern commercial kitchens, including oven, microwave, hobs, kettles, pans, crockery and utensils. - **Dining Room:** We can accommodate 60 in one sitting in the House. Up to 24 in Bungalow comfortably. - **Sitting Room:** Both House and Bungalow have a living room with excellent views of western fells and fantastic sunsets. Comfy seating and space to gather. - **TV and Music Facilities:** TV and DVD player in living room. - **Games Room:** Table football and pool table in House, pool table in Bungalow. - **Heating and Open Fires:** The House and Bungalow enjoy central heating throughout. - **Bedrooms:** Modern comfortable bunk beds. House: 12 rooms - 6 x 6 beds, and 6 x 4 beds. Bungalow: 7 rooms for up to 29. Add adjacent Lodge for 12 additional beds. - **Linen:** We can provide all bed linen. Guests are asked to make their own bed and to strip it on departure. - **Bathrooms:** House: 4 rooms en suite, 5 shower rooms to service the remaining rooms. Bungalow: 2 bathrooms, 2 extra toilets.
