Glamping at Honey Meadow Retreat, near Torrington in north Devon, offers an inspiring glamping experience in 4 acres of beautiful North Devon countryside. A great opportunity to reconnect with family and friends away from the demands of the digital world, engaging with nature and having some good old-fashioned family fun. Also on offer are Yoga and Well Being retreats as well as bespoke weddings, and plenty of extras are available - catering, DIY pizza-making and other hampers, party ideas, dog and baby sitting, and a local taxi service.

It's a 5 minute drive from the village of Dolton, where guests can stock up with supplies or eat at one of the pubs and head back for some star gazing or chilling under the stars in the wood fired bath. The Hartland Heritage North Devon Coast and South West Coastal Path can be reached in under an hour, along with traditional seaside resorts such as Ilfracombe, Woolacombe & Westward Ho! Keen hikers and cyclists can enjoy easy access to both Dartmoor and Exmoor.

The beauty of Honey Meadow Retreat is that you don't actually need to leave for the duration of your break. Each unit has its own paddock with plenty of room to play games and for the children to let off steam. The on-site tennis court, croquet lawn and trampoline provide lots of entertainment for everyone including the young at heart. There are good kitchen facilities to prepare food although owner Harriet, a chef by profession, can provide delicious breakfast and barbecue hampers to give you more of a holiday and a taste of local produce. Sit back and take in pretty countryside views and just enjoy being away from the rat race with those you love.

There is no compromise on comfort with the sleeping arrangements. Each unit has a double plus 2 singles or bunks, made up with good quality bedding and stylish soft furnishings for a good night's sleep. There are shared shower and toilet facilities but each paddock has its own wood fired bath for added luxury.
