The setting offers a strong sense of seclusion while remaining well placed for exploring the surrounding countryside, with easy access to local walking routes, Glenshee and the Cairngorms National Park. The house comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests and has been thoughtfully designed to work particularly well for group stays. There are five well-appointed double bedrooms, including two with en suite facilities, along with additional bath and shower rooms. The main living space is a large open-plan kitchen, dining and seating area with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the garden and surrounding woodland. The space is carefully zoned, with the kitchen partially screened from the lounge to allow groups to share the space without feeling crowded or disrupted. A wood-burning stove and grand piano add to the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. There is also a separate ground-floor family room with television and table football, providing an additional social space away from the main living area. Adjacent to a shower room, this room includes a double sofa bed and offers flexible accommodation for guests who prefer ground-floor access. Outside, guests can enjoy a private garden and south-facing terrace with outdoor seating, barbecue (on request) and a six-person hot tub. The house is particularly well suited to intergenerational family groups, walking groups and considerate groups of friends looking for a comfortable, well-designed base in a peaceful rural setting.
