Glyngynwydd Cottages in Mid Wales is the perfect venue for a holiday or weekend away with extended family families or friends. The peaceful location is guaranteed to leave guests feeling refreshed and rejuvenated after a stay in this unspoilt Welsh valley. The 12 acres which are home to the cottages are surrounded by stunning mountains, lakes and rivers, and only a short drive from the pretty market town of Llanidloes.

Glyngynwydd Cottages is also a wedding venue specialising in micro weddings with a total of 30 in the party. The ceremony can take place either outside in the beautiful woodland area, or inside the glorious wedding barn. And all your guests can stay at the venue too - so why not make a full weekend of your celebrations.

The venue is also suitable for small corporate groups to spend quality time away from the workplace.

The cottages have been tastefully refurbished, with each having its own kitchen, bathroom, upstairs bedrooms and a cast iron stove. There's plenty of space outside for the children to play and the dogs to get a good run.

The converted stable block provides a year round communal space, ideal for larger groups to congregate for eating and relaxing. With seating for all, there's also a wood burning stove and a games area. All in all a great space for parties and families, as well as an activity space for corporate team building.

This is a great base from which to explore this wonderful part of Mid Wales. For keen walkers, the Shropshire Hills are under an hour away, as is the Wales Coastal Path at Aberystwyth. Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) is 40 minutes away for high peaks and exciting adventure attractions.
