This lovely Mid Wales wedding venue is perfect for couples wanting to tie the knot in a magical Welsh valley setting surrounded by mountains, woodland, rivers and streams.

2 exclusive use wedding packages are available, with a blank canvas allowing you to bring in your own caterers, and bar (no corkage charged) or we can help with suggestions:

Micro weddings up to 30:

Available at weekends between October and April, 3pm Friday to 3pm Sunday, or all year round 3pm Tuesday to 11am Thursday
Includes the Small Barn for the ceremony, The Stables for the reception, The Granary honeymoon suite, 5 cottages self catering

Weddings for 30+:

all year round, between 3pm Friday and 3pm Sunday
2 licensed areas for the ceremony: the Small Barn or Woodland area
The Barn for the reception, seating 120 with space for 60 extra evening guests
The Granary bridal suite, 5 cottages, 7 pods, The Stables communal space and 12 acres of land
Pods and camping available for additional guests

Opt for a civil ceremony indoors in the gorgeous wedding barn or if the weather is fine choose the special woodland setting under the trees or an archway. A tailor made package can be put together by our wedding experts to create the perfect day for the bride and groom – enjoy exclusive use of the whole site for a weekend for special time with your closest friends and family.

The converted barn space provides a delightful setting for your celebrations. The glorious 12 acres of woodland, ponds, meadows and streams provide wonderful photo opportunities to capture special moments and memories.

Staying on site in one of the comfortable cottages or pods means that getting ready the next day is a breeze with just a short stroll to the ceremony and a tiny distance after the dancing. The bridal suite, in the Granary, is a romantic bolthole for the happy couple.

Dog Friendly

Pets are allowed, but not upstairs or on the furniture please. There is a charge of £5 per dog per day.

WiFi

There is free WiFi in the cottages. Mobile reception isn't great but the broadband connection can be used to make calls.

Kitchen

Fully equipped kitchens with cookers, fridge freezers, microwaves, toasters, kettles.

Dining Room

Dining tables in each living room plus seating for 25 in the converted stables.

Sitting Room

Each cottage has its own living area with sofas and armchairs and Freeview TV and DVD.

TV and Music Facilities

Freeview TV available.

Games Room

There is a games area in the stables with board games, dart board and table football. Also a field with football posts and a trampoline.

Heating and Open Fires

Separate cast iron stove in each cottage and a wood burning stove in the communal area. There is additional electric heating in the cottages.

Bedrooms

Each cottage is configured slightly differently but all bedrooms are upstairs. 2 kingsize, 3 doubles and 9 singles in total. Pods each sleep 2.

Linen

All bed linen is provided along with tea towels, hand towels and bath mats. Guests need to bring their own bath towels.

Bathrooms

Shower rooms with WC and wash hand basins.

Children's Facilities

Travel cot and high chair available.

Outdoor

12 acres of gardens, fields and woodland to explore. There is an outdoor games field, streams to paddle in, barbecue area and outdoor seating.

Parking

Pretty much unlimited parking available though a coach wouldn't fit up the drive!

Only outside please.

Booking Information

Minimum 2 night stay.

Exclusive hire for all 5 cottages includes The Stables communal space. Minimum of 3 night stays for bank holidays.

£500 booking fee for weddings, balance due 3 months before the wedding. 2 nights minimum with extra nights able to be added either side of the event.

5 minutes from Llanidloes and 25 minutes from Newtown. The Coastal Path and Aberystwyth are 50 minutes from the cottages.

2 miles and a 5 minute drive from the picturesque market town of Llanidloes.
Co-op Food and local shops can be found in the town - just a 5 minute drive.
Llanidloes has a number of pubs and restaurants and there are country pubs a short drive away.
Birmingham or Cardiff, both a 2 hour drive away.
Caersws is a 10 minute drive away and is on the main line to Birmingham and Shrewsbury.
At the end of the drive in Cwmbelan.
