Nestled amongst the wooded hills of the Tawe valley, our outdoor centre offers an idyllic setting for a break away. Whether you are looking for a quiet retreat or an action packed adventure, the Brecon Beacons National Park is home to some of the most stunning natural attractions in Wales.

The Outdoor Centre, certified three star by the Welsh Tourist Board, offers bunkhouse accommodation for groups of up to 36 people. Our accommodation is spread across two floors, with a mix of Bunkrooms and En-suites. We can provide catered or self-catering facilities to suit your needs, or if you fancy eating out there are good pubs and restaurants within a 3 mile radius.

Our bunkhouse offers the perfect retreat for anyone with a love for the outdoors. With picturesque walks and cycle routes right from our doorstep, we offer more than just accommodation. If you fancy exploring the wilder side of South Wales, we can provide a number of exciting outdoor activities by fully qualified instructors.

Common room on First Floor complete with 52' TV, DVD Player, Freeview box. Choose from our shelves of books, movies and games to keep you entertained.

Situated on the Southern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, Glyntawe Outdoor Centre is the ideal base for large groups looking to explore the beautiful landscape of South Wales.

Stage Coach buses between Brecon and Swansea run several times a day. Bus stop is located at the end of the road. Please check local schedules.
Aberdare and Neath Train Stations are a 40 minute drive away
Brecon - Approx 18 miles.
5 minute drive.
The Gwyn Arms. Approximately a 5 minute walk from the centre
