Main Building has: 2 x 24 bed dorms 2 x 6 bed 2 x 4 bed, 1 is ensuite 1 x 2 bed all with either attached shower/toilet facilities Shrubbery Building has: 2 x 33 bed dorms with attached showers & toilets (1 also has fully accesible shower/toilet) 4 x ensuite rooms (up to 4 sharing in each) Also available: 13 x 5 metre bell tents, up to 5 people sharing 3 x wooden camping pods, up to 4 sharing each (2 x single bed & 1 bunk) 2 x log cabins, up to 8 sharing 1 x Lodge, up to 6 sharing 'Survival area' with wooded space for up to 20 x 2 person tents Camping field with 20 large pitches We are happy to welcome groups ranging from around 12 people up to a maximum of 200, depending on the mix of accommodation required. Gordon Brown Centre is a fantastic setting for a large group gathering, whether that's several families or a big group of friends meeting up for a special occasion or reunion, members of an organisation coming together, or if your team is looking for an off-site venue for team building activities. The Centre also supports youth and school group residential trips. Flexible catered options from Bed and Breakfast to fully catered stays are available, as is self catering. There's a commercial kitchen, with inside dining in the hall for 60 and space for large group outside meals. The dining hall also lends itself to meetings or indoor activities. Other facilities across the site include 3 large fire circles, 2 spacious marquees, a classroom space, a camping toilet and shower block, overnight portaloo and laundry facilities. Experience Operation Zero - a fun 2 day challenge for survival - scavenge, camp overnight, play laser tag. Exciting outdoor adventure activities suitable for adults & children are available on site and can be booked separately from accommodation. Please see booking info tab for more detailed description and costs. Our on-site animals give children the chance to enjoy a hands-on outdoor experience in a caring environment. Up to 3 can throw at the same time. - - Air Rifle Shooting range – New for 2026 – Stay on target! compete with your friends to see who is the sharpest shooter at our target range with up to 3 shooting at a time. - - Low Rope Course – The course comprises 26 challenges comprising a balancing beam, rope-bridge, tightrope course, cargo nets, bouldering wall etc…, which have been custom built in the wooded areas of the Centre. - - Trim Trail – This is a multi-skill assault course with sixteen stations, including monkey bars, balance bridges, spider’s web, and a six-foot wall to get over! This is a great team event against the clock. - - Archery – Learn how to handle a bow and arrow and improve aim whilst shooting bespoke targets on our outdoor range. - - Archery Tag – Donning face masks, you can battle against your friends by firing (safe, foam tipped) arrows at each other to score points. Dodgeball but with more jeopardy! - - 300m Blindfold Trail – Working as pairs, navigate the 300m blindfold trail, using a variety of senses…excluding sight! Participants will follow a rope and try to navigate their way round a series of obstacles.
