Located between Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay, it offers easy access to the coast, the North Yorkshire Moors and a variety of walking and cycling routes. For mixed-age groups, there are two sitting rooms, allowing guests to spread out. The first has two leather sofas, 2 high back chairs, a TV, DVD player and radio/CD player. The second features a large glass sliding door, an attractive vaulted beamed ceiling and three leather sofas and occasional tables. The dining room seats 14 and has a wood-burning stove and a book library - the perfect space for long family dinners and a catch-up. Next to it is a well-equipped kitchen and a separate utility room containing a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board and a downstairs WC. A large conservatory with two corner sofas opens onto the south-facing fenced garden, which includes a patio, outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Bedrooms and bathrooms: First Floor – 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms 2 family rooms: one with a double bed and bunk beds, one with a king-size bed and bunk beds (top bunk not suitable for children under 6) 2 twin rooms Bathroom with bath and shower over, basin and WC Additional separate WC Second Floor – attic conversion The attic floor includes a bathroom with a bath, separate shower and WC. There is also a quiet workspace - a lovely hideaway for anyone wanting privacy to read or watch TV (also provided in this room). Things to Do: A trip to Whitby or Robin Hood’s Bay is perfect for a family beach day, ideally rounded off with fish and chips. The nearby Cinder Track offers easy walking or cycling routes to Whitby or Robin Hood’s Bay. Golfers have several good courses to choose from in Whitby and Scarborough. Whitby Leisure Centre has a swimming pool, gym and tennis courts. For those who enjoy Padel, the closest courts are in Scalby (approximately a 25-minute drive). ## Facilities - **WiFi:** WiFi available. - **Dining Room:** The dining room has a wood burning stove and seating for 14 people. There is a book library, as well as a portable stereo (bluetooth). - **Kitchen:** The well equipped kitchen has a 110cm wide gas-cooker/double oven, microwave, kettle, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. - **Sitting Room:** There are 2 spacious sitting rooms, as well as a south facing spacious conservatory. - **Telecom Facilities:** Good mobile reception outside the house. Due to thick wall of the house indoor reception is variable, depending on the network used. - **TV and Music Facilities:** TV, DVD and sound system. Each bedroom also has a TV and there are 2 music systems in the house. - **Games Room:** There are board games, some children toys and the conservatory has some children furniture. There also are plenty of books including children books. - **Heating and Open Fires:** There is wood burning stove in dining room and central heating throughout. - **Bedrooms:** 2 family bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms. 4 bedrooms in total. All the bedrooms have a sink, as well as a TV. - **Bathrooms:** Family bathroom on first floor plus an additional toilet. Another bathroom in attic room with bath and separate shower. 1 toilet downstairs. - **Linen:** Linen provided. You need to bring your own towels. Or towels can be rented at £4 per person per booking. - **Children's Facilities:** 2 (travel) cots, 2 high chairs and a stair gate are available. - **Outdoor:** Enclosed garden and patio.
