Great Everden Manor dates back to the 11th century. It is nestled in the beautiful Alkham Valley countryside just 5km from the sea.

The estate is completely private with a security fence running around the boundaries. It boasts 6 acres of land including a double pond, gardens and paddocks.

Everden is renowned for its stunning sunrise and sunsets. The estate is surrounded by fields, footpaths and country lanes. Ideal for both beach and countryside lovers. 20 mins drive to the city of Canterbury. Folkestone is 4 miles away with lovely beaches and cliff top walks. The village of Hawkinge for shops and takeaways is 1 mile away.

This stunning estate is made up of the main manor house, an annex flat and 5 separate cottages, all of these being within a 20m range from each other.

The manor house dates back to the 13th century and was used by the Crusaders as a stopover on their journey to Europe. It is full of charm and history, and is furnished with top quality furnishings.

The downstairs of the manor house consists of a dining room, lounge, formal morning room, large kitchen, and sitting room with a genuine fire place. Upstairs it boasts beautiful light fixtures, 6 double bedrooms and 3 luxury bathrooms.

Attached to the house is a large games room with seating and a pool table. This leads into a fully equipped gym, leading in turn into the indoor heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

The annex flat, situated above the pool, boasts 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

There is plenty of outdoor space with seating areas in the gardens surrounding the house. This estate also boasts the second deepest well in Kent with a depth of over 100 metres. This is, of course, grated for safety reasons.

To the back of the manor house lies the floodlit tennis court, equipment is provided.

Quality Carrera mountain bikes are available to guests for rent.

A beauty therapist can be hired to provide a range of massage and beauty treatments during your stay.

All in all, this is a wonderful estate for a group looking for a relaxing getaway.
