## About The Property

As an alternative to the entire manor, which sleeps 12, we have a 3 bedroom option sleeping 8 available upon request for smaller groups.

Be Lord of the Manor in an 11th Century moated Manor house for two days or a month. Great Tangley Manor is a self-contained, beautifully refurbished wing of a Grade I listed 11th Century moated Manor house. The property enjoys a secluded, rural setting in the glorious wooded landscape of the Surrey Hills but is within easy reach of London.

Great Tangley offers beautiful spacious rooms each individually decorated and offering you sumptuous accommodation with all the facilities you would want. The dining room seats 16 and is decorated in rich, glowing colours that are reflected in the panelling reputed to come from ships of the Spanish Armada. The kitchen of walnut and stainless steel is well-equipped and has a large award winning glass dining area, which overlooks the courtyard with its pond and fountains.

The drawing room is spacious and furnished in Art Deco style with plenty of comfortable seating and leads to the French windows opening on to the gardens and the courtyard. The Arts & Crafts library is comfortably furnished and well stocked with interesting books and magazines, just the place for a quiet read or a cosy evening. It overlooks the lake and the walled garden. There is a large plasma television located discreetly behind false panelling. At one end of the library is a small study equipped with a PC and board games.

Each bedroom has its own distinctive style and is comfortably furnished with either a 6ft double bed or twin beds.

Great Tangley also offers conference facilities.

Within easy reach of the historic properties of Polesdon Lacey, Clandon Park, Hatchlands Park, Petworth Estate and Loseley House.

Central London, 35 minutes by train to Waterloo. Gatwick, 45 minutes by train. Guildford, 4 miles by bus. 5 miles to A3 giving easy access to M25. Heathrow/Gatwick, 30 miles.

- **Dog Friendly:** One dog welcome. Nominal £50 charge for additional cleaning.
- **Accessibility:** Access via a 2ft 9 inch bridge over the moat, 2 downstairs bedrooms available.

- **Dining Room:** 16th Century dining room with oak timbers from the ships of the Spanish Armada and seating for 16.
- **Sitting Room:** Arts and Crafts library with secret TV, study with PC and printer and Art Deco drawing room with iPod/mp3 plug-in sound system.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** 40" HD flat wide-screen with full Sky HD+ package, inc Sky Sports (26" flat-screen also in Kitchen). Sound system with iPod/Mp3 plug-in, CD and DAB.
- **Games Room:** Yes a selection of board games in the study. Unlimited Hard tennis court and croquet lawn.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** New biomass wood chip pellet central heating systems and 5 fire places. We are unable to have any naked flames, including candles, within the house.
- **Bedrooms:** 5 bedrooms (2 doubles, 2 double or twin and 1 twin) including master en-suite. Option of 2 excellent quality folding single beds.
- **Linen:** Bed linen included, with two towels per guest. We are unable to provide towels for swimming.
- **Bathrooms:** 3 individually styled bathrooms with showers and baths (master bath only). Master is en suite.
- **Children's Facilities:** Too many to list, please enquire for further on site and local information.
- **Outdoor:** Set in fully maintained grounds with a large lake and magical Victorian grounds. Tennis hard court, croquet.
- **Swimming Pool:** 40 foot indoor heated pool and changing area, located at the end of the owners wing. Available 9am to 5pm
- **Parking:** Free on site parking for up to 15 cars. Car Charges, 2 x Tesla, 1 x Generic. Free for guests
- **Smoking:** Not inside the house, covered porch.
- **Electric Vehicle Charging:** 2 x Tesla, 1 x Generic. Free for guests at night. 32A.
