The property comprises three distinct cottages, offering exceptional flexibility for couples, families, or large groups of up to 14:

The Carthouse: Sleeps 6 (Ground floor living, bedrooms upstairs).
The Haystore: Sleeps 4 (Upside-down living, ground floor en-suite bedrooms).
The Byre: Sleeps 4 (Upside-down living, ground floor en-suite bedrooms).

Book two or all three to sleep 8, 10, or 14. The Haystore and Byre feature interconnecting doors between living areas, making them ideal for larger groups who want to stay close while retaining privacy. When booked exclusively, The Haystore provides ample dining space for all 14 guests to eat together.

Inside, the cottages blend character with modern comfort. The Haystore and Byre maximize their setting with living areas upstairs, boasting vaulted ceilings, panoramic views, and cozy mezzanines. All cottages feature sociable open-plan kitchens, wood-burning stoves, underfloor heating, and 55” Smart TVs. Bedrooms are adaptable, settable as Superking or Twin, ensuring a restful night for everyone.

Guests are treated to thoughtful touches including welcome packs, Bath House toiletries, bathrobes, stargazing kits, and a dedicated property App. Outside, enjoy enclosed gardens with furniture, bike storage, and practical utility areas.

The location is unspoilt yet accessible. You are within reach of Kirkby Stephen, award winning dog-friendly pubs, and attractions like Lowther Castle, Cautley Spout, and Ullswater. Booking Information: Week-long breaks start on Fridays or Saturdays. Short breaks (min 3 nights) are available outside of peak season - please enquire.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** 2 well trained dogs in each property. Please don't allow dogs on the beds and don't leave them behind when you go out. Please keep on a lead. £20 each
- **Accessibility:** Carthouse has ramped access, GF wet room with grab rails but bedrooms are upstairs. Haystore and Byre have GF bedrooms but living areas are upstairs.
- **WiFi:** B4RN full fibre WiFi is available throughout the properties.
- **Kitchen:** The properties have very well equipped kitchens including dishwashers, modern appliances and lots of glasses! Washer and dryer in each property.
- **Dining Room:** Haystore & Byre have dining for up to 8, Haystore can be expanded to 14. Carthouse has dining for 6. Outside seating & BBQ area.
- **Sitting Room:** Open plan living rooms, all with real log fires, comfy sofas, stylish soft furnishings and accessories. Outside relaxed seating.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** 55" Smart TVs in lounges. Amazon Alexa with subscription, bluetooth speaker, multi socket chargers and USB sockets.
- **Games Room:** There is no games room but lots of popular board games are provided.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** All properties have underfloor heating and wood burning stoves. The first logs are included but a week's worth can be bought for £20 each property.
- **Bedrooms:** Haystore and Byre have a superking and a twin as standard. Carthouse has 2 superkings and a twin. Can all be altered to suit guest preferences.
- **Linen:** High quality bed linen, fluffy towels and bath robes are provided.
- **Bathrooms:** Bedrooms in Haystore & Byre have en-suite whirlpool baths with showers over. Carthouse has ground floor wet-room & first floor with whirlpool/shower.
- **Children's Facilities:** High chairs & stair gates by arrangement but no travel cots. Children's games and toys can be provided. Carthouse can be set up to sleep 3 in one room
- **Outdoor:** Enclosed garden or courtyard area with outdoor furniture, outdoor taps for muddy boots, bikes and dogs. Large shared gardens, Bike storage. BBQ.
- **Parking:** Plenty of off road secure parking.
- **Smoking:** No smoking please.
- **Tennis Court:** Tennis court in the local village of Ravenstonedale.
- **Electric Vehicle Charging:** EV charging is available at additional cost.
- **Everyone Can Dine Together:** The Haystore table can be extended easily to accommodate 14 diners

## Booking Information

- Sample prices only – see our current prices on our website. 25% deposit required at time of booking, balance due 8 weeks before arrival. Check-in 4.30pm, check-out 9.30am. Flexible arrival days, minimum 3 night stay. Up to 2 dogs allowed in each cottage. £250 damage deposit for whole place bookings. We do not allow stag/hen parties.
