Perfectly positioned close to the Lake District the Green Cumbria is a fantastic choice for up to 14 guests to get together for a special celebration or family holiday. The location is wonderfully peaceful and unspoilt but within easy reach of local attractions, good pubs and , the nearby town of Kirkby Stephen.

Enjoy the feeling of everyone being together in one gorgeous Victorian stone barn while offering privacy via the separate cottage accommodation. The Haystore offers inside dining for all guests with an extra table and there is outdoor furniture provided in each cottage garden. There are 3 pubs nearby and the whole place is very dog and family friendly.

Each cottage kitchen is extremely well equipped for self-catering with sociable open plan spaces. The Haystore and Byre have upside down design so living areas upstairs enjoy panoramic landscape views. Mezzanines provide cosy spaces to play games or to curl up with a good book. Lounges are light and airy and have vaulted ceilings, feature stone fireplaces and wood-burning stoves, ideal for reconnecting with friends and loved ones.

All bedrooms can be set up as superking or twin and those in the Byre and Haystore are all ground floor en-suites. The Carthouse has ground floor kitchen, diner and living room with all bedrooms upstairs.

Other features and facilities include welcome pack, real log fires, beautiful walks straight from the door, enclosed gardens, property App with lots of pre-arrival information, underfloor heating, bike storage, bath robes, Bath House toiletries, stargazing kits, 55” Smart TVs, Amazon Alexa with Spotify subscription, bluetooth speaker, maps, games, books and utility areas.

Dogs welcome.

The local area has some lovely attractions and excellent walks including Lowther Castle, Cautley Spout and Ullswater.

Dog Friendly

2 well trained dogs in each property. Please don't allow dogs on the beds and don't leave them behind when you go out. Please keep on a lead. £20 each

Disabled Facilities

Carthouse has ramped access, GF wet room with grab rails but bedrooms are upstairs. Haystore and Byre have GF bedrooms but living areas are upstairs.

WiFi

WiFi is available throughout the properties.

Kitchen

The properties have very well equipped kitchens including dishwashers, modern appliances and lots of glasses! Washer and dryer in each property.

Dining Room

Haystore has dining for 8 but option of another table to allow 14 to eat together. Byre and Carthouse have dining for 6. Outside seating and BBQ area.

Sitting Room

Open plan living rooms, all with real log fires, comfy sofas, stylish soft furnishings and accessories. Outside relaxed seating.

TV and Music Facilities

55" Smart TVs in lounges. Amazon Alexa with subscription, bluetooth speaker, multi socket chargers and USB sockets.

Games Room

There is no games room but lots of popular board games are provided.

Heating and Open Fires

All properties have underfloor heating and wood burning stoves. The first logs are included but a week's worth can be bought for £20 each property.

Bedrooms

Haystore and Byre have a superking and a twin as standard. Carthouse has 2 superkings and a twin. Can all be altered to suit guest preferences.

Linen

High quality bed linen, fluffy towels and bath robes are provided.

Bathrooms

Bedrooms in Haystore and Byre have en-suite whirlpool baths with showers overhead. Carthouse has GF wet-room and master with whirlpool/shower.

Children's Facilities

High chairs and stair gates by prior arrangement but no travel cots. Children's games and toys can be provided.

Outdoor

Each property has an enclosed garden or courtyard area with outdoor furniture. Outdoor taps for muddy boots, bikes and dogs. Bike storage. Shared BBQ.

Parking

Plenty of off road secure parking.

Tennis court in the local village of Ravenstonedale.

Sample prices only. 25% deposit required at time of booking, balance due 8 weeks before arrival. Check-in 4.30pm, check-out 9.30am. Friday arrival days unless otherwise arranged. Up to 2 dogs allowed in each cottage. £250 damage deposit for whole place bookings.
