Guests can make use of the Green Room in the main house for snooker and pool as well as the many activities available on the wider estate, including clay pigeon shooting, an activities trail, bird watching and a Fairy Garden. Living accommodation at Greenwood Manor reflects its place in history with stunning high ceilings, wood floors and wonderful period furniture. There is no shortage of home comforts with a fully equipped kitchen including a range cooker and dishwasher along with a handy utility room. A circular table for 8 in the beautifully decorated dining room is perfect for long suppers and catching up. The lounge has luxury sofas, walls displaying a collection of artwork and colourful rugs, a cosy room to relax at any time of day or night. Enjoy time as a family outside in the large garden, watching the children play while you enjoy a cold beer or wine or prepare for a family barbecue. The Shepherd's Hut is a lovely spot to sit, with plenty of garden furniture and garden views. Bedrooms are individually designed with stylish use of colour and soft furnishings. The combination of kings and a bunk room quad is perfect for a mixed age group. The freestanding bath in the main bathroom is a highlight for an indulgent soak after a day out exploring. There is lots to keep guests occupied on the estate but avid hikers and cyclists can head to Fineshade Woods for great trails and birdwatching. Rutland Aqua Park is popular with the children for a day out, as is the Nene Valley Railway. Oundle is an interesting local market town with quirky stone buildings and plenty of pubs.
