Grenville at Wallops Wood is a very special collection of lodge style holiday houses in the South Downs National Park, designed for those looking for luxury and comfort. The pretty woodland setting provides the peace and tranquility of a retreat, perfect for multi generation families and friends to steal away for a sociable reunion or an important celebration.

There is plenty of space inside the stunning open plan living areas and French door access to the large decks for when the weather is good. Kitchens are set up for groups with 2 of everything in the larger houses to make whisking up casual or formal dinners easy. Sit down and eat together at long oak dining tables to while away evenings catching up with loved ones, and afterwards chill out in the lounges next to the cosy log burners. TV rooms in the larger houses provide a great option for choice and privacy, particularly handy for mixed age groups. Patio doors open to the deck where rattan sofas can be found as well as telescopes to make the most of those wonderful South Downs star gazing opportunities. Steps to the garden lead to the bubbling jacuzzi.

Accommodation in the larger houses is across 2 floors and offers accessible ground floor rooms with en-suite wet rooms for anyone less mobile. Portuguese Laurel is single storey and also accessible. Stylish bedrooms are lovely spaces to unwind with French doors to shared balconies with pretty views for that morning cup of coffee and a leisurely breakfast. All have en-suites and all can be configured as superkings or twins.

Blow away the cobwebs with a bracing walk direct from your holiday house. The owners have put together seven local trails with pub stops along the way to tempt you to get out and about in the South Downs National Park. Portsmouth is 30 minutes away, a fantastic family day out with exciting historic warships and museums to explore as well as the Spinnaker Tower looking out to the Solent. A day at the seaside will take 30 minutes or so by car, but definitely worth taking in the England Coast Path and glorious sandy beach at West Witterings.

Check in from 4pm, check out by 9am. A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking and the balance due 8 weeks before arrival. A £250 refundable security deposit is requested. Minimum stay: 2 nights.
