Greta Hall is a special place for friends and families taking time together, reunions, university groups or poets, writers and artists seeking inspiration, to individuals or couples seeking quiet time away. As a 220 year old listed building, Greta Hall offers really flexible accommodation in two Wings helping households stay socially distant while enjoying time together.

The Southey Wing sleeps 6,8,10,12 or 14 guests

The Coleridge Wing sleeps 4, 6, 8 or 10 guests

The Southey Wing - sleeps 5 - 14:

Southey Wing kitchen features a Britannia range, Kenwood, utility room.
- **Dining Room:** Southey Wing: original slate flag floor, locally made dining tables seats up to 20
Coleridge Wing: seats up to 8 plus kitchen dining
- **Sitting Room:** Open fires/stoves, squashy sofas and TVs.
Southey Wing has a stunning library.
CW: sitting/dining room.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** All sitting rooms have TVs.
- **Games Room:** Each wing has children's toys and books. Southey Wing has a dedicated children's library and toy area.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Gas central heating throughout the house and open fires in two living rooms.
- **Bedrooms:** Southey Wing 5 or 6 doubles plus 1 twin if required
Coleridge Wing 2 or 3 doubles plus 1 or 2 twin rooms
- **Linen:** Egyptian cotton bed linen, goose down and feather duvets and pillows. Hyper-allergenic available on request. All towels provided.
- **Bathrooms:** SW - 1 en suite, 3 family bathrooms + sinks in some bedrooms.
CW - 1 family bathroom and extra loo. An extra shower room is offered for 7+ guests.
- **Children's Facilities:** Travel cots, highchairs, baby bath, steam steriliser. Plenty of toys and books. Babysitting service available on request.
- **Outdoor:** About 1/3 acre of lawn, little woodland at the front, climbing towers for hours of fun.
- **Swimming Pool:** About 12 minutes walk from Derwentwater for wild swimming.
- **Parking:** Greta Hall has private off-road parking for up to 7/8 cars. Finding the house is very easy and access straightforward.
- **Smoking:** For the comfort of all guests and our family, smoking is not permitted within the house or the grounds of Greta Hall.

- **Bus:** Keswick bus station, outside Booths, is about a 4 minute walk from Greta Hall. Hourly Stagecoach bus services to Penrith and Kendal (via Windermere, Grasmere and Ambleside) and good local services.
- **Location:** Keswick.
- **Shop:** The Co-op is approximately 2 minutes walk from Greta Hall. The town centre just a minute further along the road. Markets on Thursday and Saturdays.
- **Food and Drink:** Keswick town centre (2 minutes walk) has a multitude of wonderful pubs and restaurants to choose from.
- **Airport:** The nearest airports are Glasgow, Manchester and Newcastle which are all just under a 2 hour drive away (85 miles).
- **Train:** Penrith station is 20 minutes drive (West Coast mainline with London only 3 hours direct), Windermere station is about 1/2 hour drive. There is a good bus and taxi service.
