The spacious sitting room sits beneath a magnificent stained glass window, while upstairs the open plan mezzanine kitchen, dining and living space is made for a large group. An extra table can be arranged for everyone to dine together too. Cook a big dinner, settle in for a game or simply sit back and enjoy the views. There are 4 bedrooms on the ground floor, and 3 bathrooms. Outside, there’s an enclosed garden and a sunken lawn suitable for children and dogs, a barbecue and a stargazing platform for making the most of the famous Northumberland dark skies. The Coach House, dating from 1817, has its own charm, with exposed beams, fireplaces and antique furniture. Sleeping 6 across 3 bedrooms, the house provides a further spacious sitting room, separate dining room and large kitchen. The enclosed walled garden is another lovely place for a long lunch. And when your group wants to explore further afield, you’re spoilt for choice.
