A winding avenue leads to Grove Cottage, a comfortable and characterful home from home, sleeping up to 10 guests. It is perfect for 3 generations, friends meeting for a celebration, golfers enjoying a few days away, anglers looking for some great fishing, or wedding guests attending a local wedding and looking for somewhere comfortable and welcoming to stay. Outside is where Grove Cottage really comes into its own. The extensive gardens are beautifully kept, with plenty of quiet corners to sit and enjoy the peace. The patio just outside the living room is ideal for barbecues, and children can enjoy the climbing frame, zip line, sunken trampoline and table tennis. There are picnic areas beneath the trees and plenty of seating dotted throughout the gardens. Inside, the cottage combines the charm of an older Irish home with all the comforts you would expect. The spacious living room overlooks the gardens and is a lovely place to relax, chat and enjoy a fire in the stove. The modern kitchen is bright and well equipped, while the separate utility room makes the cottage particularly handy for families and longer stays. The 4 bedrooms offer flexible accommodation. Two bedrooms are downstairs with a spacious accessible bathroom nearby. Upstairs, an attic conversion, has two twin bedrooms and a bathroom. For those who enjoy the great outdoors, the River Slaney in Tullow offers excellent fishing, with permits available locally. Walkers are also well catered for, with access to the Wicklow Way and plenty of beautiful countryside nearby. There's lots of other attractions to explore within easy reach, including Altamont Gardens, Huntington Castle, Duckett's Grove, Brownshill Dolmen and Rathgall Hillfort. Carlow town is just a short drive away, while Dublin and Rosslare are both conveniently accessible, making Grove Cottage an ideal base for exploring the area.
