It has been tastefully upgraded over recent years, but still shows much of its original charm. It’s a wonderful place to relax, unwind and enjoy the stunning views. Gulabin Lodge offers very comfortable accommodation for individuals, families and groups. The lodge has underfloor heating throughout and lounges with log fires so all very cosy. The dining area is a spacious bright room that can seat all our guests. There are 9 bedrooms sleeping 36 in total. Double, twin and family rooms are all available if required. The upstairs of the lodge has 4 traditional type bedrooms sleeping 12 in total and with shared shower/toilet facilities; these are very popular with the smaller groups. The downstairs accommodation has 5 bedrooms which are all pine clad and sleeps up to 24 in total. All these rooms have a mezzanine area with bunk beds in both the upstairs and downstairs areas of the room. They are ideal for families with young children. There are also private toilet/shower facilities on this floor and all rooms have wash hand basins. Outside there's a barbecue and seating area with fire pit for al fresco gatherings.   Many groups including family and friends, schools, colleges, youth groups, walkers, bikers, mountain bikers, runners, golfers, and those that are just after some peace and quiet use the lodge as a base. These are available during both the summer and winter months. Many activities are available to book locally. We are the nearest accommodation to the Glenshee Ski Centre.  During the winter months we can recommend ski instruction and equipment hire providers. The grounds surrounding the lodge are very safe for children and there is plenty on offer for all ages. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** Well behaved pets by arrangement. - **Accessibility:** Disabled access is available throughout the downstairs of the lodge. Freezer and fridges. - **Dining Room:** Seating is available for 35 which is ideal for a large gathering. - **Sitting Room:** There are two lounges/sitting rooms both with log fires and underfloor heating throughout. - **TV and Music Facilities:** No TV. - **Games Room:** The dining room makes for an ideal games facility with the tables folded up. - **Heating and Open Fires:** The lodge has underfloor heating throughout and both lounges have open log fires. - **Bedrooms:** 9 bedrooms in total sleeping 36. 2/4/5 person rooms available. 5 bedrooms have a mezzanine floor - beds upstairs and downstairs, ideal for families. - **Linen:** All linen consisting of cotton sheets and duvets are all provided. - **Bathrooms:** Two communal bathrooms; one on ground floor, one on first floor. Individual private shower toilet facilities available in each. - **Children's Facilities:** Two separate lounges in the lodge - one can be used for children if required. Safe location for children. - **Outdoor:** Outside seating area with a barbecue, outdoor kitchen and fire pit.
