The lodge was built in 1846 and was originally a manse to the local church. It has been tastefully upgraded over recent years, but still shows much of its original charm. It’s a wonderful place to relax, unwind and enjoy the stunning views.

Gulabin Lodge offers very comfortable accommodation for individuals, families and groups. The lodge has underfloor heating throughout and lounges with log fires so all very cosy. The dining area is a spacious bright room that can seat all our guests. There are 9 bedrooms sleeping 35 in total. Double, twin and family rooms are all available if required.

The upstairs of the lodge has 4 traditional type bedrooms sleeping 15 in total and with shared shower/toilet facilities; these are very popular with the smaller groups.

The downstairs accommodation has 5 bedrooms which are all pine clad and sleeps up to 21 in total. All these rooms have a mezzanine area with bunk beds in both the upstairs and downstairs areas of the room. They are ideal for families with young children. There are also private toilet/shower facilities on this floor and all rooms have wash hand basins.

Outside there's a barbecue and seating area for al fresco gatherings, and a games room is available too.

Many groups including family and friends, schools, colleges, youth groups, walkers, bikers, mountain bikers, runners, golfers, and those that are just after some peace and quiet use the lodge as a base. These are available during both the summer and winter months. Many activities are available to book locally.

We are the nearest accommodation to the Glenshee Ski Centre.  During the winter months we can recommend ski instruction and equipment hire providers.

The grounds surrounding the lodge are very safe for children and there is plenty on offer for all ages.
