Available separately or together, the bases are flexible to each groups needs. Hagg Farm is a very well established outdoor activity centre for schools and is ideal for a whole range of uses for both young people and adults. Every group has sole use of each centre. Facilities in the main centre include bunk rooms of 2 - 8 beds, fully equipped kitchen, dining room with Smart TV, WiFi, comfortable lounge/reception, classroom and snug/games room with Smart TV and pool table. The John Hunt Base is a separate annexe in the courtyard and offers very pleasant accommodation for up to 18 in rooms sleeping 2-8. It has a lounge, equipped kitchen, Smart TV and kit space. The grounds include a car park, games field, picnic tables, large fire pit with log seating, large charcoal barbeque and climbing boulder. Use of all these facilities is shared between guests hiring the main centre and the John Hunt Base. 18 car parking spaces are allocated to the main centre and 6 spaces to the John Hunt Base. Electric vehicle charging available. £15 per charge; payable in advance. We provide an RFID card - request in advance. Please bring own cable. The centre is close to many famous rock climbing ventures such as Stanage Edge, and to the showcaves around Castleton. Walks from the door lead onto the high moors of Kinder and Bleaklow and around Ladybower reservoir and dams. Chatsworth, Eyam and Buxton are close by and Sheffield twenty minutes drive away. Hagg Farm OEC has been delivering adventurous activities to children and adults since 1989, On-site and off-site activities can sometimes be arranged for groups or individuals in advance (dependant on instructor availability). The Main Centre is has a lift to the first floor. - **WiFi:** Please note there is only a Vodafone mobile signal at the Centre. - **Kitchen:** Fully equipped in both bases including freezers. Hagg Farm kitchen has a commercial style dishwasher. - **Dining Room:** Separate dining room upstairs in Hagg Farm Centre with a 'food lift' from the kitchen. The John Hunt Base has a lounge/diner next door to the kitchen. - **Sitting Room:** Comfortable reception seating in Hagg Farm Centre as well as games/library room upstairs. Comfortable seating in lounge/dining room in John Hunt Base. - **TV and Music Facilities:** Smart TVs connect to WiFi in Hagg Farm main centre and the John Hunt Base. Please bring own login to connect to services e.g. Netflix, iPlayer. - **Games Room:** Pool table and table top football as well as various boxed/board games are available for use in the main centre. - **Heating and Open Fires:** Modern air-source heat pump systems provide heating/hot water in both bases. - **Bedrooms:** Dormitory rooms sleeping 4-8 people in adult size bunks, plus 2 twin bedded rooms in each base. - **Linen:** All bed linen is included (duvet, duvet cover, pillow, pillow case, fitted sheet).
