Green Gallop, Red Ridge and Blue Brook. Blue Brook has a large glazed timber dinning area with an oak dining table seating 15 and open plan sitting room with leather sofas, so that everyone can eat and socialise together.
The cottages are located on a beautiful 100 acre farm in a secluded valley, set in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park in spectacular countryside.
Ideal for horse lovers, with stabling available. The Crai river (SSSI) runs alongside the back of the cottages and the large outdoor sitting - BBQ area and fire pit next to the river. There are fabulous views over the green rolling hills and river from the kitchen and bedroom windows.
The area has abundant wildlife including otters, buzzards and red kites nesting nearby.The picturesque Crai reservoir with brown trout fly fishing is a five minute stroll away. There are numerous walks from the barn, Glacial Lakes – Cnewr Estate – Forestry - Commons – Waterfalls and Roman Roads. Brecon town is 15 miles, whilst the sandy beaches of the Gower Peninsula are only a 45 minute drive. The owners have an extensive knowledge of the local area for those on foot, bicycle or horseback, they also speak Dutch, French and German.
The barn has been thoughtfully converted to a very high standard to provide comfortable self catering accommodation in three separate cottages ideal for privacy within a group.
Oak floors and staircases and Welsh slate compliments the original beams and stonework whilst each property benefits from warm terracotta tiles with underfloor heating, modern showers and a romantic freestanding bath in Blue Brook.
