Sleeps 4 - 8 4 Bedrooms 8 Dining

Harbourside holiday house in Craster sleeping 8 for traditional seaside family holidays or for a special occasion weekend

Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. Harbourway, Craster, Northumberland, sleeps 4 - 8 in 4 bedrooms.

An idyllic spot overlooking the beautiful Craster Harbour is the setting for this gorgeous family holiday house. Harbourway, an end of terrace 19th century stone house, boasts large double fronted bay windows and spectacular North Sea views and has everything you would expect to find in a traditional seaside cottage. Perfect for extended family gatherings or friends meeting for a reunion or celebration, easy access to the Coastal Path and the trails of the Northumberland National Park make this a great spot for keen hikers and cyclists too.

Harbourway has been beautifully and sensitively restored with delightful living areas on offer. The stylish seaside blue kitchen is a pleasure for preparing meals, fully equipped with mod cons and an island made for sharing a glass of wine and keeping the cook of the group company while dinner is being prepared. The formal dining room is perfect for long family dinners. Both the dining room and lounge have large bay windows providing lots of natural light and with window seats for enjoying the spectacular sea views, and an inglenook fireplace with a wood burner.

Through arched French doors is the sun room, benefiting from underfloor heating and with direct access to the front patio. The enclosed south facing front garden is a lovely place to sit, enjoying the sea and harbour backdrop over breakfast or a cup of coffee before heading out for the day, or for a barbecue.

There is one bedroom on the ground floor configured as a twin or super king to suit and with an en suite, a quieter corner for grandparents or anyone wishing to avoid stairs. The other bedrooms are individually designed using the best of soft furnishings including classic Melin Tregwynt woollen blankets.

The pub and cafe are within walking distance, and the legendary local fishmonger L. Robson and Sons can provide local supplies for the barbecue. Great beaches including Bamburgh and Embleton Bay are within easy reach, as is the iconic Dunstanburgh Castle.
