Hardingsdown Bunkhouse sleeps 12

The Chaffhouse Cottage sleeps 10

Hardingsdown Bunkhouse and The Chaffhouse provide comfortable self-catering accommodation for families and groups, sleeping up to 12 people in Hardingsdown Bunkhouse and 10 people in The Chaffhouse on a weekend, mid-week or weekly basis and can be hired separately or together.

In Hardingsdown Bunkhouse the ground floor consists of a fully equipped kitchen that will seat 12 people, 2 shower/toilet rooms, a comfortable living room with a Smart TV and comfy sofas. Off the living room is a bedroom with a bunkbed sleeping 2 people. The ground floor is heated throughout with underfloor heating – very cosy during those chilly winter evenings.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms sleeping 5, 3 and 2 in bunk beds and single beds. There is also another shower/toilet room. The upstairs is heated with radiators in each room.

The Chaffhouse also has a fully equipped kitchen that seats 10 people, a living room with a Smart TV and comfy sofas, a shower room, a wet room and a downstairs bedroom with 2 single beds that can be zipped together to make a large super king size double.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms sleeping 4, 2 and 2 and some of the beds can be made into large doubles. Also upstairs is a lovely modern shower room.

The Chaffhouse is heated throughout with underfloor heating.

Both properties have access to drying and storage facilities for equipment and kit and both have gardens and patios that benefit from full sun all day, perfect for BBQs.

Llangennith beach (5 minutes away by car) is a safe and sandy beach great for family holidays and also one of the best surfing beaches in Wales and the South West. It is also an excellent venue for canoeing, wind surfing and swimming. The dramatic backdrop of Rhossili Downs behind the beach is a favourite haunt for para and hang-gliders.

There is a fine network of footpaths and bridleways suitable for walking, mountain biking and horse riding throughout Gower and access from Hardingsdown Bunkhouse and The Chaffhouse could not be easier.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** We welcome pets to a maximum of three. We charge £10 per dog and ask that pets are kept downstairs, off the furniture and not left unattended.
- **Accessibility:** Downstairs bedroom in The Chaffhouse. Wet room with grip rails, comfort wc and access for wheel chair to wash hand basin on ground floor.
- **WiFi:** Free WiFi access and reasonable mobile phone reception depending on network.
- **Kitchen:** Hardingsdown Bunkhouse and The Chaffhouse both have fully equipped kitchens with large cookers, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans.
- **Dining Room:** Hardingsdown Bunkhouse can seat 12 people in the kitchen/diner.
The Chaffhouse can seat 10 people in the kitchen/diner.
Both very sociable spaces.
- **Sitting Room:** Both properties have comfortable and cosy living rooms with a Smart TV in each property and comfy leather sofas.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** There is a Smart TV and radio in each property.
Good idea to bring own board games etc.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Hardingsdown Bunkhouse has underfloor heating downstairs, radiators upstairs.
The Chaffhouse has underfloor heating upstairs and downstairs.

- **Linen:** Bed linen is provided in both Hardingsdown Bunkhouse and The Chaffhouse. Please bring own towels.
- **Bathrooms:** Both properties have three bathrooms - 2 downstairs and 1 upstairs each with WC, wash hand basin and shower.
- **Children's Facilities:** High chairs and travel cots can be provided for use on request in advance of arrival.
- **Outdoor:** Outdoor patio tables in sheltered locations catching all day and evening sun.
Large BBQ in each garden. Please bring your own charcoal.
- **Parking:** Plenty of parking space but we encourage car share if possible to cut down on numbers of cars.
- **Smoking:** No smoking allowed in the property or around farm buildings.

- Friday and Monday changeovers although we do try to be flexible.

- A 30% deposit plus a booking form secures the booking. The balance is due a month before arrival.

Located on the western side of the stunning Gower Peninsula close to many sandy beaches such as Llangennith (a 5 minute drive away) as well as Port Eynon, Rhossili, Horton and Oxwich, all within a 20 minute drive and fully accessible to all. Llangennith village and the local King’s Head Pub is a 20 minute walk away, mostly off road, or a 3 minute drive. A superb network of footpaths and bridleways for some fabulous walks and bike rides can be accessed right from Hardingsdown Bunkhouse doorstep with beautiful coastal and inland scenery.

For retail therapy, the famous Mumbles is just 30 minute drive away and Swansea City, the home of the famous Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, is again 35 minutes away.
