## About The Property

The Chaffhouse is a stunning barn conversion located on a farm on the beautiful Gower Peninsula - the perfect spot for family holidays, surf weekends or countryside getaways with friends. Once the barn where corn was ground for the farm animals, it’s now a beautifully restored holiday cottage that sleeps up to 10 guests in comfort and style. Warm and toasty in winter with underfloor heating, and light, airy and open to the views in summer, The Chaffhouse blends traditional charm with modern touches. On the patio outside  you’re surrounded by rolling fields and fantastic Gower views that will stop you in your tracks.







Inside, there’s a lovely sense of space and togetherness. The open plan kitchen diner is perfect for big breakfasts before a day at the beach or relaxed dinners that last all evening. There’s a large range cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, and a big table that seats everyone comfortably. The cosy lounge has plenty of comfy seating and a Smart TV, ideal for movie nights after a day exploring.

The Chaffhouse has 4 flexible bedrooms including a downstairs twin room that can become a super-king if you prefer. Upstairs you’ll find two more twin rooms (one also zip-linkable into a double) and a spacious family room sleeping 4, with a bunk and two singles that can join to form another large bed. Bed linen is provided so just bring your own towels. There are 3 contemporary bathrooms, a shower room upstairs and a ground floor wet room and a shower room downstairs handy for rinsing off after the beach.

Outside, the sunny enclosed garden and patio catches the light all day and well into the evening, a great corner for barbecues or a lazy drink as the sun sets. There’s also a drying room, lock up for bikes, surfboards or kayaks and an outside tap for washing kit.

You’re just a 20-minute stroll (mostly off-road) from a friendly pub in Llangennith Village, and only 5 minutes by car from the legendary Llangennith Beach, a favourite with surfers, and the Coastal Path for those enjoying a hike. Swansea is 35 minutes away for a fun city day out.

Adjacent Hardingsdown Bunkhouse can be booked for 12 additional guests.

## Booking Information

- Friday and Monday changeovers although we do try to be flexible.

- A 30% deposit plus a booking form secures the booking. The balance is due a month before arrival.

- A bond is required for Stag and Hen parties.

- Arrival from 4 pm. Checkout 10.30 am. Safe storage for luggage etc available.

The Chaffhouse is located on the western side of the stunning Gower Peninsula close to many sandy beaches, including Port Eynon, Rhossili, Horton and Oxwich all within a 20 minute drive and fully accessible to all.

Our nearest beach, Llangennith Beach, is a 5 minute drive great for surfing and swimming…and dog friendly. Llangennith village and the local King’s Head Pub is a 20 minute walk away, mostly off road, or a 3 minute drive. A superb network of footpaths and bridleways for some fabulous walks and bike rides can be accessed right from Hardingsdown Chaffhouse doorstep with beautiful coastal and inland scenery.

For retail therapy, the famous Mumbles is just 30 minute drive away and Swansea City, the home of the famous Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, is again 35 minutes away.
