Set in 700 acres of beautiful Shropshire countryside, our compact campus is located just outside the historic market town of Newport, yet only 40 minutes from Birmingham. Newport is a charming market town known for its rich history, with a picturesque high street lined with independent shops, traditional pubs and quirky cafes. The closeness of the Shropshire Union Canal provides serene walking and cycling paths and fantastic views of the water and surrounding countryside. The Upper West Wing of the Main Building, the original family home of our benefactor Thomas Harper Adams, is home to five charming guest suites, each with its own individual character. Our suites have amazing views across the university’s gardens and fields. All guest suites are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, microwave and a small fridge. For larger groups, our comfortable halls of residence contain a mixture of single en-suite rooms with shared kitchen facilities per flat, with other halls having single rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. Our award-winning catering team delivers seamless, high-quality catering across all outlets; we can provide tailored catering to meet your group’s needs, from fully catered to include a hot breakfast, lunch and dinner, to grab and go options in our cafes. We welcome a variety of annual groups to Harper Adams University throughout the year ranging from religious groups to specialist interest groups, to summer schools and overseas students. ## Facilities - **WiFi:** Free access to our wireless network is included for all guests, 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. - **Dining Room:** Our main dining room operates a counter service. We can offer formal meals / banquets from 50-200 guests in private dining areas. - **Bedrooms:** 400+ single university rooms single available during the summer vacation. 16 en-suite single rooms and 5 Guest Suites available all year round. - **Outdoor:** 700 acre campus with pretty grounds and gardens. Large sports hall and sports pitches. - **Games Room:** Table tennis on site, must be booked in advance. - **TV and Music Facilities:** Many of our facilities include modern, high spec AV and multi-media equipment, and video conferencing facilities are available. - **Heating and Open Fires:** Centrally heated. - **Linen:** Bed linen and bathroom towels provided. - **Parking:** Plenty of free on-site parking available, all vehicles must be pre-registered in advance. - **Smoking:** General smoking or vaping is permitted outside only.
