Large groups are well accommodated in this country retreat, which can cater for up to 34 guests in 11 spacious bedrooms. High ceilings and luxurious decor will assure you an excellent time in an extraordinary place. Edinburgh city centre is just 30 minutes away, so you haven't got to go far to take advantage of all that this fantastic city has to offer! The house boasts a grand entrance hall which leads into the dining hall, which can sit 34 guests altogether. There's a lounge area adjacent with its own open fire and plenty of couches where you can relax and enjoy a wee dram or two! Cook in the designer kitchen, which has everything you need for big groups, although we do offer a catering service, or just order a takeaway from the local Chin-dian! Or jump in the hot tub and relax. We accept all types of groups that behave themselves, including hens, stags, schools, charities and other organisations. Our bespoke service offers so much more than just accommodation - talk to us about catering, events on the house gardens or country pursuits locally - we can help you have a memorable event. Edinburgh is just 30 minutes away, with easy public transport links, or take advantage of our VIP transfer service into the city. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** Well behaved pets are allowed, any damage will be taken from the damage deposit. - **Accessibility:** It's a very old manor house and therefore does not have the latest facilities, however we endeavour to incorporate any guest requests. - **WiFi:** WiFi in the communal areas, please be aware the house is a bit of a maze and unfortunately the WiFi does not like the thick walls! - **Kitchen:** The designer kitchen is as luxurious as it looks, with plenty of white goods to make your life easy, 2 fridges and lots of storage space. - **Dining Room:** This stunning room is the heart of this magnificent house. Up to 24 guests at once can enjoy meals in this splendid room featuring a majestic fire. - **Sitting Room:** A roaring open fire invites you into the heart of our house, plenty of leather chairs and decor to offer a relaxing environment for your guests. - **TV and Music Facilities:** The house does have 1 flat screen TV, but we encourage guests to reconnect with friends over board games and good times! - **Games Room:** There is no games room. - **Heating and Open Fires:** Central heating throughout. Lots of open fires for those chilly Scottish mornings. - **Bedrooms:** We open 8 bedrooms for 25 ish guests, poss access to further 3 in separate apartment within the same house. King master, others with up to 5 singles. - **Linen:** Included within your stay, all towels and linen. - **Bathrooms:** 6 bathrooms (including shower rooms). - **Children's Facilities:** Children will love to run around throughout, both inside and outside the house. We have 1 high chair and 1 cot, more can be supplied upon request. - **Outdoor:** Barbecue - small lawn, we have held highland games on the lawn for 30 guests before. - **Swimming Pool:** There is no pool. - **Parking:** Plenty of parking available.
