Hayne Devon is the perfect place to gather everyone together for a special occasion in a reclaimed and renovated threshing barn with a stunning glazed gallery and a dining room made for celebrations, with the option of catering for up to 135 guests.
The Long Barn is the largest unit, ideal for 2 families. Open plan design and vaulted ceilings evidence the transformation from animal stalls into stylish comfortable living, with enormous windows allowing light in, colourful decor and attractive wall art. The Cabin will sleep a family of 4 who are happy to bunk down together in a comfy shared space and the Shepherds Hut a romantic hideaway for a couple wanting privacy. The 5 bell tents can be set up for between 2 and 4 guests, another great choice for families. All of the units have been designed with love and attention to detail, retaining the original sculpted lime walls in the Long Barn and creating a gorgeous handcrafted kitchen in the Shepherds Hut. The properties are self contained and self catering but the draw of Hayne Devon is hiring the events barn for that special birthday party, product launch or wedding reception.
Bedrooms are all about luxury, king size, doubles, singles and bunks with tasteful Indian quilts and high quality mattresses and toppers. The Long Barn benefits from 3 en suites including a Moroccan tiled shower off the bunk room. The glamping units are able to use the communal Milking Parlour hot showers and loos.
Hayne Devon is a fantastic base for exploring this lovely area, with access to trails for walkers and cyclists within 45 minutes on Dartmoor and Exmoor. Tiverton can be reached in around half an hour, a lovely little town for a wander and to visit the castle. Bickleigh Castle is on the way home too. The Hartland Devon Heritage Coast is an hour away with seaside gems including Bude - the family will love a day at the beach.
