Heel Barn lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Kent countryside near Faversham. The property is of timber construction, converted with socialising in mind by the current owner into an open plan luxury property sleeping 18.
This barn is full of old beams and features and really feels luxurious yet homely. It has been a popular destination for large family groups as well as friends getting together. It is very child friendly and wheelchair accessible.
The 72 sq metre living room is a great place to relax, maybe play a game of pool and entertain. In winter, a cosy central fireplace adds warmth and ambiance. Step down into the large kitchen, which is well equipped with 3 ovens, microwaves, a large walk in fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, lots of cupboard space and a large table. The French doors in the kitchen lead out onto the terrace where there is a barbecue and essential outdoor seating and tables.
The view is magnificent! The wraparound garden is securely fenced and double gated with parking for 8 cars. Relax in the 8 person hot tub looking out to beautiful Kent countryside.
There are 2 large bedrooms on the ground floor, a twin and a double with en suite with a connecting door. Up the oak staircase you will find the large family bathroom and family room which has a double bed and en suite, and stairs leading to a second storey accommodating a further 2 single beds. Crossing the bridge overlooking the living room leads you to the 2 triple rooms, both with a single and bunk bed. All bedrooms have plenty of storage and some have their own TV/DVD players.
There is an annex for the larger groups above 15 people which has a double bed, separate WC/shower room and kitchenette with all of the necessities.

The local area is a designated AONB, perfect for those wanting to walk, cycle or ride horseback. For those wanting to venture further, the outstanding cities of Canterbury and Rochester are within 12 miles. There is also a great local pub, The Plough Inn in Stalisfield.
