Helme Pasture Lodges and Cottages are situated in Nidderdale, within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, set in and adjacent to, our own natural woodland overlooking the Nidderdale valley - an ideal venue for a family get-together, celebration or simply a relaxing retreat. Lots of options in the area for walking, cycling, as a base camp to explore the area and admire the gorgeous scenery around us.
Sleeps from 2 up to a maximum of 16 people if all ancillary beds are used in all properties:
Large Scandinavian Lodge sleeps 8 (+2 on the double sofa bed)
The Studio can sleep 2 people and is ideal as a simple extra accommodation for the lodge
Byre and Old Barn Cottages each sleep 2 (+1 on a single sofa bed or stowaway bed respectively)

The Lodge has seating within the dining areas for 12 people (+ 2 more at a push). Outdoor seating available on the decking and around the pizza oven and BBQ area for 10+ people.
Safe cycling storage for up to 10 bikes is available on site for anyone undaunted by the Yorkshire Dales hills! We also welcome all well behaved pets.
Our ancient oak woodland is home to deer, squirrels, rabbits and a plethora of bird and plant life offers an idyllic and peaceful setting in which to either relax and unwind or use as a base to explore the many attractions in the area.
Nearby towns include Pateley Bridge, approx 4 miles from us. Slightly further away and with a wealth of restaurants and bars, are Harrogate Spa town and the Cathedral City of Ripon, both approx 10 miles away. Historic York and Leeds are approximately 1 hours drive away offering even more variety and nightlife.
The magical geological rock formations at Brimham Rocks (National Trust) is located about a mile away and the World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey are approx 7 miles away.
