Helme Pasture Lodges and Cottages are situated in Nidderdale, within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, set in and adjacent to our own natural woodland overlooking the Nidderdale valley - an ideal venue for a family get-together, celebration or simply a relaxing retreat. Lots of options in the area for walking, cycling, as a base camp to explore the area and admire the gorgeous scenery around us. Sleeps from 2 up to a maximum of 12 in all properties: Large Scandinavian Lodge sleeps 8 over 4 bedrooms Byre and Old Barn Cottages each sleep 2 people and are close by the lodge  The Lodge has seating within the dining area for 10 people. Outdoor seating available on the decking and around the pizza oven and BBQ area. Safe cycle storage for up to 10 bikes is available on site for anyone undaunted by the Yorkshire Dales hills! We also welcome all well behaved pets. Our ancient oak woodland is home to deer, squirrels, rabbits and a plethora of bird and plant life, and offers an idyllic and peaceful setting in which to either relax and unwind or use as a base to explore the many attractions in the area. Nearby towns include Pateley Bridge, approx 4 miles from us. Slightly further away, and with a wealth of restaurants and bars, are Harrogate Spa town and the Cathedral City of Ripon, both approx 10 miles away. Historic York and Leeds are approximately 1 hours drive away offering even more variety and nightlife. The magical geological rock formations at Brimham Rocks (National Trust) is located about a mile away and the World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey is approx 7 miles away. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** Well behaved pets are welcome with a £25 charge per pet per stay. - **Accessibility:** The Lodge is wheelchair accessible with living space all on one floor. - **Hot Tub:** We have no hot tub on site, however, the nearby spa town of Harrogate has a well established Turkish Baths. - **WiFi:** Free WiFi within the Lodge and cottages. Good mobile signal on most networks. - **Kitchen:** Fully equipped kitchens in all properties with ample cooking facilities for a large party in the Lodge. - **Dining Room:** The Lodge has a combined dining area for 8, with another table in adjacent room for extras. - **Sitting Room:** The Lodge has a seating areas suitable for 8+ people over 2 sittings rooms - the larger with a wood burning stove. - **TV and Music Facilities:** Lodge and the Old Barn cottage have smart TVs, bluray/DVD players. The Byre has a smart TV. All have Bluetooth soundbars. - **Heating and Open Fires:** Electric or oil fired central heating everywhere. Wood burning stove in the Old Barn and Fern Crag lodge. - **Bedrooms:** 3 double bedrooms and 1 twin room in the Lodge. Cottages have a double bedroom. - **Linen:** All linen, bedding and towels are included within your booking, based upon number of people booked. - **Bathrooms:** The Lodge has 2 family bathrooms and an en suite shower room from the main bedroom. All cottages have private bathrooms. - **Outdoor:** Decked area with ample seating overlooking BBQ area. Gardens and extensive woodlands with footpaths. Fenced in croft area. Cycle storage for 10 bikes. - **Swimming Pool:** Local swimming pool and Leisure Centre in Pateley Bridge. Further swimming pools in Ripon, Knaresborough and Harrogate. - **Parking:** Ample private parking to the rear of the properties for 4 or more cars. EV charging station available within lodge parking area by prior arrangement. - **Smoking:** We have a no smoking policy within all accommodations.
