Two stone buildings have been converted to accommodate parties of up to 64. There are nine bedrooms in total - each with its own en-suite shower and WC. Both buildings are carpeted throughout, centrally heated and double-glazed. Two rooms in the Stable on the ground floor are suitable for people with limited disabilities.
There are 52 acres of traditionally managed farmland offering over 150 species of flora, uncommon birds, various insects and mammals and some interesting geographical features.
You can arrange your own itinerary or activities can be arranged via our partnership with PeakPursuits or you can simply use the farm as a base and accommodation.
Visits to nearby industrial sites or museums, for example Gladstone Pottery, Bass Museum of Brewing, Quarry Bank Mill and various steam railways, mills and slate mines.
There is an educational area with multimedia projector available. Two rooms on the ground floor are suitable for people with limited disabilities. The latest fire detection and alarm equipment is installed and the centre has a fire certificate (school groups will be required to participate in a fire drill on the first evening).
