## About The Property

Higher Wiscombe is the perfect venue for small conferences or company offsite. Located at the centre of East Devon’s National Landscape (previously call the AONB), and within easy reach of the SW Coast Path and the Jurassic Coast. In this peaceful valley setting, a few miles from the sea at Beer, Sidmouth and Branscombe, are four 5 star luxury cottages with up to 17 en suite rooms plus ample parking, as well as onsite EV charging facilities.

The oak dining table in The Winery can dine up to 34 guests comfortably. There are two sitting areas, providing additional break out space for separate meetings, making this a great space for seminars, business, training and corporate events. Many team building activities are also available nearby, and some can be held onsite. Please discuss with us for further details. 

We have an extensive list of local caterers who can do anything from leaving supper for you to warm up, to a fully catered trip. There is a private bar downstairs in The Winery which always proves to be very popular. There are many excellent local restaurants. If you wish to self cater you can organise supermarket deliveries and take full advantage of our fully equipped kitchens.

When relaxing, delegates can enjoy a games room with table tennis and table football and in summer we have an outdoor heated swimming pool.

We are 20 minutes from Exeter and it’s airport, an hour and a half from Bristol, 2.5 hours from Birmingham and 3 hours from London. Honiton mainline station is 10 minutes away. We can also provide a list of local taxi firms. 

Beds are made up on arrival with luxurious cotton sheets and bath towels are provided.

The Winery has 10 bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms. Both the Flint and Thatched have 3 en suite bedrooms, and Hanks has 1 en suite bedroom, giving a total of 17 ensuite bedrooms.

- **Dog Friendly:** Dogs very welcome, pet hamper provided.
- **Accessibility:** Please contact us to discuss your needs. Flint has been designated as M1 Accessible, meaning it's suitable for less mobile guests of all ages.
- **WiFi:** Meshed WiFi available free of charge.
- **Kitchen:** Extremely well equipped: large range cookers, gas hobs, electric ovens, large fridge freezers, microwaves and dishwashers. Large Dualit toasters.
- **Dining Room:** Stylish dining rooms with light oak tables and chairs. The Winery has a table that can seat up to 34 and can be configured in a number of ways.
- **Sitting Room:** Comfortable sitting rooms with squashy sofas and good lighting, large TV, DVD player, iPod dock and plenty of books and board games.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Flat screen colour TVs with sound bars or DVDs and Freeview channels.
- **Games Room:** Full size table tennis and table football.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Underfloor heating throughout, wood burning stoves, eco kindling, eco firelighters, our own logs and long British matches included.
- **Bedrooms:** All bedrooms en suite. All beds can be super-king doubles or 3' twins except where stated as fixed super-king doubles. Thatched has one x 5' 4-Poster.
- **Linen:** Crisp, white bed linen and white bath towels provided. All beds made up ready for arrival. Swimming towels not provided.
- **Bathrooms:** All bedrooms en suite. 2 bathrooms in The Old Winery also have baths. Flint has one with both shower and bath. Thatched has one with roll top bath.
- **Children's Facilities:** We have a swimming pool in season, a games room with table tennis and table football, high chairs, cots and stair-gates. Away from roads and traffic.
- **Outdoor:** Modern garden furniture and Weber gas BBQs (gas provided). 52 acres of wonderful pasture land with sheep plus woodland, streams and orchards.
- **Swimming Pool:** Outdoor heated swimming pool in season.
- **Parking:** Covered parking for the Winery. Private designated parking for all.
- **Smoking:** No smoking.
