It's a lovely spot for a quiet breakfast or for a balmy evening barbecue prepared while the children let off steam having a kickabout on the lawn.
Upstairs are the rest of the bedrooms, configured as a king with en-suite; a double and 2 twins for flexibility. They are spacious rooms, some dual aspect and all with classy soft furnishings. Bathrooms are plentiful with a choice of a bath or shower in the family bathroom.
Dartmouth town is a short stroll away, with charming historic cobbled streets steeped in Royal Naval history, an interesting natural landscape and a wonderful choice of local produce for creating a tasty supper. The town has a festival vibe with exhibitions and events happening all year round. Visit the impressive steam railway, head to Bayard's Cove - Dartmouth's oldest wharf - to see where The Mayflower was moored in 1620, or visit the National Trust houses just over the water on the Kingswear side of the estuary.
