Sleeping 14 in 7 bedrooms, the house is comfortable and cosy, spacious and well equipped, making it an ideal choice for families and groups of friends looking for a base for exploring the western Lakes. Large open plan living areas lend themselves to gathering everyone together, and the smaller snug and study offer a peaceful retreat if needed. Enjoy family reunions and milestone birthdays in a beautiful setting. Dogs are welcome too.

Surrounded by 12 acres of pasture and woodland, the house enjoys a private and tranquil setting, yet pubs and charming villages are within easy reach.

There are local attractions to suit every member of your party - Muncaster Castle with its beautiful gardens or Ravenglass with a beach and miniature steam railway. To the north lies the historic port and marina of Whitehaven with a variety of shops, restaurants, museums and water sports.

For those seeking adventure, we have teamed up with a local activity provider and can put you in touch to experience abseiling, climbing, canyoning, canoeing and a wealth of other adrenalin-fuelled days out.
