## About The Property

The Malthouse in Somerset is a great choice for a business event, easily accessible for guests travelling from all parts of the UK, being near the M4/M5 and off the A36.

We feel the Malthouse works well for a small corporate group looking to spend some creative time away from the workplace in a conducive environment. The large walled garden is ideal for outdoor team building activities and informal breakout groups, we can also put up a large marquee on one half of the lawn. Table tennis and fire pit add to the fun of staying at the Malthouse.

Fancy a game of cricket? we are right next to a cricket field with access via the garden.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with catering size pots and pans, and we can organise your food in the house with drop off home-made food or a private local chef. Having your meals organised for you allows the team to focus fully on work matters and maybe head to the pub right next door for a well-earned treat. The George Inn is one of the oldest pubs in the UK.

The Malthouse boosts two lounges, one with the wood burner and the Garden Room with plenty of light and space for a projector to hang down from the large ceiling; we can move the furniture around to suit your needs.

The Malthouse has 7 sympathetically decorated bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. 4 of the 7 bedrooms can be configured as singles totalling 14 guests in 7 bedrooms. The Garden House sleeps up to 4 adults.

- **Accessibility:** Unfortunately this property is not suitable for wheelchair access.
There is a ground floor bedroom, up 3 steps and shower room, non slip floor.
- **WiFi:** Excellent WiFi is available throughout the house. Desk space to be able to work from home away.
- **Kitchen:** Well equipped modern fitted kitchen with island, open stone fireplace (first nights wood supplied), catering size pots and pans.
- **Dining Room:** Inside dining up to 14/16. Large open fireplace very cosy in the winter months. Music system.
Al fresco dining and barbecues in open courtyard.
- **Sitting Room:** Two lounges, one a has inglenook fire - wood burner, door leading to courtyard. Garden room has garden views and large 55’ TV. Both have comfy sofas.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** 55" TV in garden room and window seats looking out onto the garden.
- **Games Room:** Outdoor table tennis and badminton.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Centrally heated throughout. Log burning stove in sitting room - enough logs for 2 nights included. Large open fire in kitchen.
- **Bedrooms:** 7 bedrooms - 3 super kings, 2 kings (1 ground floor en suite) and 2 twins. rooms have zip and link beds. Cottage if booked sleeps 2
- **Linen:** Crisp Egyptian cotton linen and fluffy towels are provided. Toiletries provided in the bathrooms.
- **Bathrooms:** Ground floor en suite doubles as cloakroom. 2 large family bathrooms on first floor. 2nd floor shared bathroom with bath and shower over.
- **Children's Facilities:** Travel cot and high chair available. There is a selection of books and games for children. Stair gate by prior notice can be fitted.
- **Outdoor:** Large open courtyard and seating for al fresco meals. Extensive mature gardens with lawned area. Children's park right next door and cricket field.
- **Parking:** Parking is on the street by the house or by the pub, a map will be sent out.
- **Smoking:** Please don't smoke inside the house. Should you wish to smoke outside please pick up all butts.
- **Electric Vehicle Charging:** EVC is only 2 mins away at the local farm shop.
