Further afield other options for days out include Inverary and the Inverary Jail, Tarbert and Rothesay all within an hour of The Hollies. The Hollies has been recently restored to create the ideal place for friends and family gatherings in a thoughtfully designed house with open plan living. The stunning bespoke hand made wooden kitchen is great for preparing large group meals to be enjoyed in the large adjoining dining space. Through French doors from the kitchen is the terrace, a great spot for a barbecue or cup of morning coffee with plenty of outdoor furniture. Between the terrace and the lawn is a further seating area with its very own boulodrome and even more opportunities to gaze at the amazing backdrop. The light and airy lounge has lovely period features with huge picture windows and a cosy open fire, perfect at any time of day and at any time of year. The games room has an integrated Sonos music system, large HDTV, games console and 7 foot pool table. Accommodation is across 3 floors with a ground floor accessible double en suite, popular with multi generational groups and those with mobility issues. On the first floor there are a further 5 doubles with en suites and Kyles of Bute views, all decorated to the very highest standard. The top floor may well be a good place for the youngsters in the group to bed down with 2 large rooms, a shared luxury bathroom and the Butler's Pantry with coffee machine and mini fridge.
