Ideally located with the Peak District towns of Matlock, Bath and Bakewell nearby, Holly Bank House has an abundance of activities and places to visit within close proximity. It's a perfect base for groups wanting to explore the Peak District and works perfectly for families and mixed groups.
A spacious 5 bedroom house with remarkable views, Holly Bank House offers flexible sleeping configurations with twin or double bedrooms, family rooms, bunk beds and an additional sofa bed in the lounge for a couple of extra little ones if needed. The property is great for 10 adults but can accommodate family groups of up to 14 with children.
The property is on split levels; on entering the property you are welcomed by a spacious hallway with a double-sided log burner. There is a large, beautifully decorated, bright lounge with plenty of soft seating to fall into whilst relaxing in front of the cosy log burner after a day exploring the local area. Down a few steps is a generous open-plan kitchen and dining area with additional conservatory perfect for socialising or admiring the far reaching views. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a large dining table with seating for up to 14 guests so you can easily enjoy either a homemade meal or maybe you'd prefer to hire one of our recommended external caterers to give you a break for the night.
The property has 5 individually designed bedrooms which can be made up as doubles or twins to cater to your sleeping arrangements. There is one en suite shower room in the master bedroom, a further 2 shared shower rooms and an impressive luxury shared family bathroom with a large roll-top bath to soak in after taking advantage of the nearby cycling or walking routes.
Off the kitchen there is a patio area with a built in coal barbecue (coal not provided) and a picnic bench to enjoy alfresco dining. There is a small lawned area at the front of the property and plenty of areas around the property to sit and admire the uninterrupted views.
Due to the location of this property, we are unable to accept hen/stag weekends or 30th birthdays.
