This fabulous house 'Hollywood House' is perfect for big birthday celebrations, corporate events, family holidays and weekends away if you want something different and fun!

This vast house offers stylish, luxury self catering accommodation for up to 40 guests in 16 bedrooms themed after 1950s Hollywood legends, with 14 opulent bathrooms all with contemporary fittings. A special feature of the house is the large dining conservatory opening through double bi-fold doors to the infinity terrace overlooking the Derwent Valley.

At Ashbourne Self Catering we have used our experience in hiring luxury properties to large groups and created a bespoke manor house oozing glitz and glamour with more than a little deference to the golden age of Hollywood. The casino level reveals original Roulette and Black Jack Tables, with croupiers provided to host an evening playing the tables (just for fun not money!). After dinner in the atmospheric dining conservatory, take your Martini onto the terrace overlooking the hot tub and plunge pool; is this Derbyshire or The French Riviera?

Five acres of gardens are another stunning feature of Hollywood house, with ancient Monkey Puzzle trees lining the driveway, a scenic path leading to the woodland area adorned with bluebells and ferns in the spring. Further on you will discover the Arctic cabin, complete with log seating and reindeer skins - winter BBQs are a must!

For those looking to enjoy a special dining event with family and friends, caterers can be hired, and the kitchen is fully equipped for professionals and amateurs alike! Crockery, cutlery and glasses are all provided. The dining conservatory can host events for up to 90 people - extra charges apply.

For smaller groups of 25-30, some of the bedrooms can be closed off, reducing the nightly price. Please enquire for further details and pricing.

Sitting Room

Two large lounges with comfy sofas and wall mounted TV in each, both lead out through French doors to the dining conservatory.

TV and Music Facilities

Three large wall mounted TVs are complemented by a DVD player and 2 Bluetooth speakers.

Games Room

The games room houses a 7ft pool table. The casino level has original Black Jack and Roulette Tables (just for fun, not money!).

Heating and Open Fires

Oil fired heating throughout the house.

Bedrooms

13 twin singles/super king bedrooms (including 5 family rooms) and 3 doubles. 11 en suite shower rooms, 1 en suite bathroom, 2 shower rooms.

Linen

All bed linen and towels are provided, except for pool towels the hot tub and plunge pool. Heating and electricity are included in the hire charge.

Bathrooms

11 en suite shower rooms, 1 en suite bathroom and 2 separate shower rooms.

Children's Facilities

A travel cot and high chair can be provided along with two single put up beds (on request).

Outdoor

5 acres of gardens with a play area; infinity terrace from the conservatory; hot tub; BBQ cabin in the woodland; plunge pool (open April-October).

Swimming Pool

13ft plunge pool (4' 6" depth) - open from 1st April to 1st November. 7' hot tub - heated all year round.

Parking

Private on site parking for 50 (full size coaches cannot access the driveway).

Smoking

No smoking within the house. Smoking permitted in the grounds, cigarette bins are provided.

£400 initial payment secures the booking.
£300 damage deposit due with the final instalment.
