Homestead Barn, an historic Peak District barn built in 1878 and remaining in its original form for 140 years, has been transformed to provide comfortable well equipped holiday accommodation, with 8 en-suite bedrooms and two large reception rooms.
The reception rooms offer plenty of space for guests to relax and enjoy time together. The kitchen area has a range of units including an island with bar stool seating and is well equipped for large group catering, and the dining area has a large dining table with individual seating for 20 guests. Flowing through from the dining area you enter the entertainment room with its own bar with stools and seating and then onto a comfortable seating area with surround sound television.
Bedrooms are a generous size, mostly en suite and 2 of them on the ground floor sharing a walk-in shower room.
Homestead Barn sits within its own grounds providing plenty of secure parking and recreational space, with glorious countryside on all sides and spectacular views. With a peaceful setting on the edge of the village, the village pub is a short walk away. The Tissington Trail, for fantastic cycling and walking, is just across the fields, and stretches for 13 miles through an area with a rich history. The famous Peak District towns of Bakewell, Buxton and Ashbourne are all within easy reach, and stately homes nearby include Chatsworth and Haddon Hall. The countryside of the Peak District is spectacular - a wonderful place to explore, enjoy outdoor pursuits or just to spend relaxed time with family and friends.
