Horspool Retreat is a truly special 20 acre countryside estate offering space, privacy and luxury in a rural location, but just a 20 minute drive from Nottingham City Centre, 15 minutes from Newark on Trent and easily reachable from the main roads and train network. This is an ideal central venue for all types of group gatherings – for family get together, reunions with friends and celebration weekends. Up to 36 guests plus infants and dogs are welcome.

Surrounded by landscaped gardens and with far reaching views across the Trent Valley, Horspool Retreat combines historic charm with modern comfort to create a 5 star luxury retreat. Highlights include a stunning indoor heated swimming pool, set within the impressive vaulted Threshing Barn with an air conditioned relaxed seating area, an indulgent whirlpool spa bath and a pool table.

At Horspool Retreat, former farm buildings have been carefully transformed into an impressive and welcoming home. Designed with group living in mind, the house features expansive open plan spaces where everyone can gather with ease. The large kitchen and dining area are perfect for shared meals and entertaining, while 3 separate lounge areas provide plenty of room to socialise or simply to spread out and enjoy a quieter moment.

Flexible bedroom arrangements suit a range of needs, and high quality finishes and thoughtful touches create a sense of comfort and style.

There’s a strong commitment to sustainability here, with the underfloor heating by a ground heat source pump. And there are multiple free EV chargers on site for guest use.

Outside, the south facing gardens provide a peaceful and private setting, with plenty of space for outdoor dining, games and relaxation, and open views across the surrounding countryside.

- **Heating and Open Fires:** Underfloor heating on the ground floor and thermostats on radiators upstairs. We are eco friendly and heated by a ground heat source pump.
- **Bedrooms:** 9 rooms: Gd flr: King+3S (e/s), 2 with D+2S (with shower room). First Flr: 3 triple (D+S) 2 e/s, 1 D+2S . Also 2 twin rooms.
- **Linen:** We provide luxury cotton bed linen during your stay. We also include a bath and hand towel per person. All are complimentary.
- **Bathrooms:** We have 8 luxurious bathrooms. Rainforest shower.
- **Children's Facilities:** We are child friendly and can leave available 2 travel cots (no bedding), high chair and stair gate. We also supply children’s books, games and DVDs.
- **Outdoor:** 20 acres of private gated land. Garden seating for 32. Barbecue and rattan furniture in the internal courtyard. Football goals. Outdoor table tennis.
- **Swimming Pool:** 15ft heated swimming pool and air conditioned relaxation area.
- **Electric Vehicle Charging:** EV charging stations on site.
- **Parking:** We can accommodate over 100 vehicles. The private driveway accommodates a minimum of 30 cars.
- **Smoking:** We operate a strict no smoking policy inside the property. However we do permit smoking outside in the sheltered courtyard.

- Arrival from 3pm, departure by 11am please. Please enquire for 2pm check in or 12pm check out – subject to availability – £50 + Vat charge for either.

- Security deposit of £200.00-£350.00 depending on number in group. Please note we request this to be paid 24 hours prior to arrival for a mid week stay and 48 hours for a weekend stay. Returned within 24/48 hours of departure subject to no breakages and/or damages.
