Houghton Farmhouse is a comfortable 7 bedroom farmhouse with lots of period features near the town of Wells-next-the-Sea on the beautiful north Norfolk coast.
Houghton Farmhouse sits at the edge of the village and has a secluded garden to the back of the property. The house has many lovely features within such as servants bells and, whilst beautifully modernised, it still retains its charm.
The lounge has lovely comfortable seating and a wood burner for the colder winter nights, and the dining room seats up to 18 also. The kitchen is well equipped for those wishing to cook up a culinary delight or two as there are plenty of pots and pans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. There is also a large fridge, smaller fridge and good sized freezer. The kitchen and dining room are right next door to each other so easy to take food and plates backwards and forwards, plus there is a small table in the kitchen for smaller groups or earlier sittings for children.
The bedrooms are all of a good size with lovely white cotton linen and feather duvets. There are four bathrooms in the house and you will find a complimentary toiletry set in each.
The lovely secluded garden has a games room, a heated swimming pool with telescopic enclosure for all year round swimming, and the addition of a six-person sauna near this area too.
The house is well located for the North Norfolk coast with Wells-next-the-Sea not far away. There are many beaches to explore as well as many sights to visit including the seals at Blakeney, the Sandringham Estate and Norwich.
Catering and various activity options are available at the house and these are ideal if someone is celebrating a big birthday, an anniversary or a hen party.
