How Stean Gorge now hosts a selection of rustic lodges:
3 large 10 person lodges which include wood burning hot tubs
1 large 10 person with no hot tub
1 x 6 bed lodge with en suite, full kitchen and hot tub
2 x 4 bed lodges with en suite, full kitchen and hot tub

How Stean Lodges are the perfect solution for a weekend away with friends or family where being outside and experiencing the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales is what it's all about. Groups staying in these holiday lodges in Nidderdale can also get involved in a whole range of activities provided a couple of miles away at our base at How Stean Gorge - a fantastic weekend of challenges for hens and stags too, or for corporate groups looking to engage in some team building.

How Stean offers rustic and simple but comfortable lodge accommodation with bunk beds and a mini kitchen area for making hot drinks. Each large lodge has a log burner to ensure a cosy stay, and an outside fire pit for evening use. A barbecue is provided too. And at the end of the day, sit back and relax in the hot tub enjoying the dark skies of Nidderdale - 3 of our lodges have one.

There's a cafe on site which is open between 9am and 5pm and offers a range of hot meals, snacks, cakes and also a hearty breakfast to prepare you for the day ahead.

Our 10 person lodges have access to our facilities, with plenty of showers and wcs, and with underfloor heating too.

Activity packages can be arranged to suit your group - with something for all levels of ability and our instructors ensuring that everyone has a fantastic experience. A full day activity experience offers a jam-packed day of challenges, or you can choose individual activities to suit. These range from high ropes course, abseiling and gorge walking to caving and canoeing in the Gorge.

Kitchen

On site licensed cafe, open 9 till 5, last food orders at 4pm. Hearty breakfasts, light meals and a range of full meals available. Children's menu.

Sitting Room

Sofa in each lodge, or sit outside around the fire pit. Logs and kindling are available from the on-site shop.

TV and Music Facilities

No TV but there are charging points in each lodge.

Games Room

There is no games room.

Heating and Open Fires

Heating provided. Indoor wood burner. Bag of logs and fire lighters to start you off.

Bedrooms

Each lodge has 2 standard bunk beds and 2 bunks with 3 tiers.

Linen

Sheet and pillowcase provided. Please bring your own duvet or sleeping bag.

Bathrooms

Access to a facilities block with underfloor heating. 10 showers and toilets. Smaller lodges have private facilities.

Children's Facilities

No specific facilities.

Outdoor

Veranda to each lodge. Barbecue and personal fire pit for each lodge. Bags of logs available to buy at on-site shop.

Swimming Pool

There is no pool, but some of the lodges have a hot tub.

30% deposit to secure booking. Balance due 4 weeks before arrival. Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out is by 10 am.
