This is fantastic comfortable budget accommodation for all kinds of groups including organisations such as charities, churches, sports clubs and youth clubs looking for meeting facilities and activity space. IncredABLE Mourne Centre is fully accessible and works well for groups with disabilities and those with support needs. It is also a great choice for corporate gatherings hoping to engage in some team building exercises, or groups of friends and families getting together for a special occasion. Located at the foot of the wonderful Mourne Mountains, this large great value holiday accommodation in County Down is a magnet for hikers and cyclists and boasts breathtaking views of Slieve Binnian.
IncredABLE Mourne Centre has been recently renovated to create practical accommodation. It includes a brand new fully equipped kitchen, plus a light and airy dining room for 26 with pretty countryside views. This is mainly a self catering property but it is possible to ask about outside caterers coming in. The lounge seats 20 guests comfortably and can double as the main meeting room for a business or activity group. The games room is a popular spot, with plenty of relaxed seating, a pool table, ping pong and a wide screen TV perfect for a cinema experience.
The 9 bedrooms are a combination of twins, a triple, a sleeps 5 and a sleeps 8, handy for a mixed age group. All have contemporary en suite facilities for added convenience. The ground floor wet room has a changing bench and mobile hoist (we are working towards The Changing Places standard certification).
IncredABLE Mourne Centre is a good base for exploring this wonderful part of Northern Ireland, just a 10 minute drive form the fishing port of Kilkeel and even closer to The Silent Valley Reservoir with a circular walk and as much peace and tranquility as you could hope for. The seaside resort of Newcastle at the bottom of the largest Mourne peak, Slieve Donard, is worth a trip for a day at the beach. For any water sports enthusiasts there is a variety on offer locally including kayaking, canoeing and sailing. Belfast can be reached in 45 minutes for a trip around its Titanic Quarter.
