## About The Property

Until recently this mountain top family holiday house with unrivalled views to Lake Windermere was known as the highest pub in the Lake District. It has now been transformed into a funky holiday house with exceptional facilities for a fantastic stay in a one of a kind location.

It's hard to know where to begin with what's on offer at Kirkstone Pass Inn. The living accommodation combines super comfort and luxury with  vibrant classic Americana retro colours and features creating spaces with a nostalgic feel. The 'bubblegum' pink and blue kitchen diner is a colourful space for hosting long celebratory dinners. And afterwards if you fancy a casino experience with Black Jack, Roulette and Poker, stepping back in time to play retro arcade games, or just a game of table football or air hockey, it's all here.

If the weather cooperates, head outside for barbecues and pizza oven treats with benches and picnic tables just across the road in a spectacular setting. An outdoor snooker table and ping pong will keep the youngsters entertained too. Make the most of the panoramic views from the terrace with a dip in 1 of 2 luxury hot tubs, the best seats in the house, followed by a restorative sauna session after a day on the hills.

The 9 en suite bedrooms are a feast of 1980's colour and design, totally individual with vintage touches, cartoon wallpapers and imaginative furnishings. All have modern bathrooms, rainfall showers and one has an indulgent freestanding bath.

Before you leave don't forget to capture a group shot at the retro photo booth, a fun reminder of a great holiday.

Just minutes away from Kirkstone Pass Inn are an abundance of great walking routes. The house overlooks Lake Windermere, convenient for a boat trip or watersports, while Windermere itself is a bustling town providing family friendly attractions including The World Of Beatrix Potter and plenty of cafes for coffee or lunch out. Ambleside is regarded as one of the best places to start fell walks.
