In the spectacular Northamptonshire country estate of Ashton Wold, near Oundle, there are to be found a selection of unique individually styled, recently converted luxury holiday rental houses. Surrounded by wildflower meadows, rolling farmland and magical woodlands, we invite you to discover a select country retreat.

The 3 houses, which sleep a maximum of 25 altogether, form a "u" shape round a central courtyard area and across from the houses is a field with 3 Shepherd Huts and purpose built barbecues for each house.

The emphasis inside is on quality, in a style that is both comfortable and elegantly modern. All our houses are unique whilst allowing for the highest expectations in modern bathrooms and kitchen spaces.

Constable House:
Large open plan living/dining/kitchen area. At ground floor level are 2 king rooms (1 with en suite), 1 twin and 1 single room with en suite. There is also a family bathroom. There is a further en suite king on the 1st floor.

Turner House:
Large kitchen/diner and separate utility room, along with a large living room. 2 king rooms (1 en suite), 1 twin and a family bathroom are on the ground floor. 1st floor has another king.

Gainsborough House:
2 king rooms (1 en suite), 1 double, 1 twin (en suite) and a family bathroom are on the ground floor. Upstairs is the large open plan kitchen/diner and living room.

There are many attractions to enjoy in the area - Oundle and historic Stamford are easily reached, there are great pubs and restaurants to try, and many opportunities for golfing, walking, cycling and watersports at Rutland Water, as well as several important sporting events in the vicinity throughout the year.

Facilities

All kitchens include Rangemaster cookers, fridges, freezers, microwaves, coffee machines and a large selection of crockery and cutlery.
All the houses include dining table suitable for the maximum amount of persons permitted to sleep in that property (10 / 8 / 8).
All the sitting rooms are of a good size, some are open plan. Please see our website for floorplans and photographs.
All the properties include a flat screen TV, a DVD Player and either a DAB radio or music system.
Free WiFi. Phone signal not always guaranteed but different for all properties.
There is no games room but who needs one with natures playroom right on your doorstep!
Oil fired central heating, included in price.

Fresh bed linen and towels are provided and are included within the price. For stays of two weeks or longer fresh linen is available weekly.
Bathrooms vary in style and design - please see website for photos.
No specific facilities for disabled guests - Constable and Turner have bedrooms and living areas on the ground floor.
We offer high chairs (subject to availability) on a first come first serve basis.
The properties include outdoor furniture and most include your very own Shepherds Hut and barbecue.
There is no pool.
Free parking is available behind the properties on the gravelled area but you can drive into the courtyard to unload.
Smoking is not permitted within any of the properties.
The owner will consider one or two dogs per property - please send an enquiry with details of what type of dog, size etc.

All the houses are situated at the top of Ashton Estate in rural Northamptonshire, near Oundle.
Oundle Market Town.
Waitrose, Tesco Express, Boots in Oundle. Great local butchers!
The Chequered Skipper in Ashton.

Booking Information

Advance payment of approx. 20 - 50% required and then the balance due one month prior to arrival. Dates can be flexible subject to availability. Payment by bank transfer or cheque.
