St Leger and Gold Cup are the larger properties with Goodwood stretching above both these properties as a first floor apartment. These holiday apartments near Oundle occupy the old stable block on the Ashton Estate, and retain some of the original features making them an unusual and interesting venue for getting together friends and family for a holiday or weekend break. You can book just one of the houses or all three.

All the properties are decorated to a high standard and the rooms are a good size. Gold Cup has a great open plan kitchen dining room and there is even a second large dining area, so there's plenty of space for everyone in a large group to sit together. The 3 properties share a large central cobbled courtyard with barbecues, lots of outdoor furniture and table tennis.

The Stables is situated across from the Cricket Field that guests can use - and there are lots of outdoor games.

And the Estate itself offers lots of other activities to enjoy - walking and cycling, bird watching, the Woodland Walk: a dedicated walk with activity based Shepherd Huts along the way, archery, clay pigeon shooting and much more. All in all a fantastic place for families, friends and hen party weekends.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** The owner will consider pets (dogs) in Gold Cup and St Leger but not in the 1st Floor flat - Goodwood Rooms. Please enquire.
- **Accessibility:** Both Gold Cup and St Leger have great wide stable doors for wheelchair access.

- **Kitchen:** Large open plan kitchen with central island, range cooker, microwave, Nespresso Original machine, fridge, freezer.
- **Dining Room:** There are two dining areas in Gold Cup a few metres apart. One table seats 10 and the other dining area comprises 2 tables that could seat up to 20.
- **Sitting Room:** Large sitting room with sofas and armchairs.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Flat screen smart TV.
- **Games Room:** Cricket Field with lots of games, table tennis, badminton, croquet etc. Adult only snooker, pool, darts room also available in the main house.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Oil fired central heating.
- **Bedrooms:** 6 king rooms, 4 twin rooms, 1 quad room.
- **Linen:** Bath towels, hand towels and all bed linen included.
- **Bathrooms:** 6 bath/shower rooms and an extra WC in Gold Cup.
