The House with 6 stunning bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and a downstairs loo. Set in a beautiful location, Ladywell House is the perfect base for Central and Southern Scotland. Ideal for family holidays, celebrations, or for groups of friends looking for a break together.
There is a dining kitchen complete with AGA and an electric hob, a light and airy conservatory with dining table and easy chairs, a spacious Drawing Room with open fire and dual aspect. The dining room seats 16 and is elegant and large, and the TV room has a flatscreen TV and DVDs. There is a drying room, and a washing machine is provided.
The bedrooms are set over the first and second floors, and all are pretty and comfortable, with electric blankets for the cooler Scottish nights. There are 2 double rooms with kingsize beds, 3 twin rooms with 2 single beds, and a family room with a kingsize, a single, and a further pull-out single.
The Steading has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 4 adults , with a super-king with en suite bath and shower, a double, and a twin with bunk beds and suitable for kids. A further bathroom with walk-in shower, a dining kitchen with door to a south-facing patio, and a bright and airy sitting room with 2 sets of French doors. On one level.
The property has full gas central heating, and wood is supplied for the open fire. Wood available, please enquire.
The house and Steading sit in an acre of walled garden, and there is patio furniture and a swing and trampoline. We have a local Hot Tub hirer who can supply a hot tub for the duration of your stay. Please let me know your requirements and we can arrange a quote for you.
Surrounded by hundreds of acres of farmland, and backing onto East Lomond, the house is quiet and secluded, but only 10 minutes walk from the village of Falkland.
We are within 30 miles of 50 golf courses, and Perth, St Andrews and Dundee are within 30 minutes drive. Stirling and Edinburgh are within 45 minutes, and trains run from Markinch to Edinburgh on a regular basis, with the village of Markinch only 7 minutes drive away.
