Whether a traditional multi activity week, a single activity skills development, an expedition or an achievement award, we offer high quality courses, with clear curriculum/Curriculum for Excellence experiences and outcomes, for school groups. In the winter we operate a snowsports school using 3 nearby ski areas and our own large dry ski slope. Flexibility is key – we can offer catered courses (for up to 125) using our large building (An Taigh Mór 58 beds) and our 5 forest lodges (sleeping 6 to 18), or self-catered courses for up to 92 using our lodges and camp huts. Lagganlia is a residential centre that is part of the City of Edinburgh Council. We custom design courses based on your desired outcomes and most of our activities are off-site and led by mature and experienced multi-activity instructors who will lead their group of up to 10 students throughout their stay – a continuity that builds trust and aids student learning and development. Our courses will enable you to explore/give depth to particular curriculum area/s, develop individual confidence, encourage teamwork or leadership or prepare for the school transitions. We guarantee a fantastic time enjoying a large range of exciting adventurous outdoor activities in stunning landscapes. Coffee bar and kitchenette available to guests with hot water, fridge and microwave. No self catering. - **Dining Room:** Dining room, 60 persons per sitting capacity. - **Sitting Room:** Lounge and meeting spaces. - **TV and Music Facilities:** Clever touch screens and WiFi for conferencing and training. We have barbecue huts in the woods, plus a number of fire pit sites throughout the grounds. - **Bedrooms:** Room configuration is 2 six-bed bunks, 11 four-bed bunks and 2 single beds.
