Set in beautiful gardens with 25 acres of meadow and 2 private lakes, this is a magical place for guests seeking peace and quiet in a rural location.
A 300 year old Cob Barn is home to Lake Villa Holiday Cottages, 3 sympathetically renovated properties that include original beams and an inglenook fireplace. In Swallow Barn and Nuthatch the bedrooms are downstairs and living spaces upstairs to make the most of the pretty views. Lake Villa is the largest cottage and ideal for an extended family or group of friends. A conservatory dining room is set up for 14 guests to eat together in comfort. Kitchens are well equipped including dishwashers (except Nuthatch), all cottages have washing machines. Sitting rooms have sofas and TVs and Lake Villa has a cosy wood burner too, as well as French doors to the private patio.
The garden is a complete triumph, lovely for spending quality time together playing tennis or teaching the kids to fish in the private fishing lakes. There are idyllic picnic areas too, with the opportunity to spot the local kingfisher and other indigenous wildlife.
