The cottages are set in a beautifully landscaped walled courtyard, with the lodges set further back, and the huts are situated in the meadow, alongside the woods, in between the lodges and our orchard.

The charming holiday cottages and lodges offer fantastic comfort and are well-equipped with everything you need. Our largest lodge, Broad, has a private hot tub with two secure decked areas.

The Shepherd Huts, also well-equipped, offer an exciting ‘glamping‘ experience for all the family, a holiday with a difference. What’s more, all our accommodation is pet friendly and our four legged friends also receive their own welcome pack.

Whether you are here for tranquility and enjoyment of your favourite pastimes, or more energetic and exhilarating pursuits for you and your children, our extensive on site facilities will have exactly what you are looking for. 

For days when the weather is great, there is an outdoor play area with swings and slide and a communal barbecue area with two brick built barbecues and plenty of seating. Take a leisurely dip in the indoor heated pool, chill out in the sauna, have fun in the games room, take a relaxing woodland walk, a well deserved Spa treatment, or feed the chickens; it’s all on your doorstep. As are the plethora of local tourist attractions and beaches, including West Bay, Weymouth, Sea Life, and Farmer Palmers.

There are plenty of lawned areas for games of football or cricket. There are complimentary herb gardens dotted around the courtyard, and a small shop selling local produce. Fresh local meat packs can be ordered for delivery.

At Lancombe Country Cottages and Lodges, we cater for a variety of group sizes. Above all else, there’s one thing you can be certain of: your hosts are here to make sure you have the most wonderful holiday, and leave with great memories to look back on.

## Facilities

- **WiFi:** Complimentary WiFi for whole site. Mobile reception good.
- **Accessibility:** Ramps available for lodges. If arranged in advance we can adapt to first floor sleeping in cottages. Mobile grab rails available for baths.
- **Dog Friendly:** We welcome two pets in each Cottage and Lodge. (supplementary cost per pet per stay of £10).
- **Kitchen:** Cottages/Lodges: fully fitted and well equipped. Huts: kitchen area with a 2 ring gas stove, small fridge and each has it's own barbecue.
- **Dining Room:** Cottages/Lodges - internal dining area seating the number they sleep.
- **Sitting Room:** Cottages/Lodges: seating with space for occupancy of accommodation, TV/DVD player.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Cottages/Lodges: TV/DVD with HDMI, CD player/radio with music docking station.
- **Games Room:** Air hockey and football table, books, games, DVDs and CDs.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Cottages: gas central heating and one cottage has an additional imitation log burner. Lodges: Electric Heating.
- **Bedrooms:** Cottages/Lodges vary on preference. Details incl. floorplan are on our website.
- **Linen:** Hotel linen for all and included in price.
- **Bathrooms:** Cottages & Lodges: own shower and bath. Hairdryers in each Cottage and Lodge.
- **Children's Facilities:** We provide free cots, high chair, stair gate, baby monitor, nappy bins, on request. Fairy woods. Games room. Outdoor Play Areas. Indoor heated pool.
- **Outdoor:** Large lawned areas. Woods, Meadow & Orchard. Swings and slides. Children welcome to help feed the chickens. Two large brick built barbecues.
- **Swimming Pool:** Indoor heated pool 1m – 1.5m deep, water and air kept at 88 – 90 degrees F. 3 changing areas with walk in showers. Sauna £2 per use. No lifeguard.
- **Parking:** Cottages: courtyard parking adjacent to cottages. Lodges: 1 space next to each lodge.
- **Smoking:** No smoking inside properties. Smoking is permitted outside.

## Booking Information

- Please visit our website to check up to date availability, prices and our T&Cs. Please email us for group booking requirements. A 25% deposit is payable on booking, balance is due 28 days prior to arrival. Changeover days for Cottages and Lodges are Saturday, Friday and Monday. Shepherd Huts vary.
